Miranda portrayed as confident woman while being as insecure as Carrie. Miranda only settles for Steve because a man at her level of success or above would intimidate her too much, she needs a man like Steve that she feel better than and can blame all her issues on. Well she's the one who picked him! He moved on and then she had to have him back! She dated a doctor and that only brought out how much she cannot handle a more mature, successful partner. She had just as little character growth as Carrie did. Sure she got married and had kids which are things she didn't seem to have wanted before, but it's more like she just settled for that lifestyle because she didn't dare to follow her heart. Then she took that out on Steve and made him feel bad and pushed him away which led to him cheating one time and then they should've finally broken up but no she forgives him and stays in a marriage she's miserable in! Steve is a sweet guy but not suitable for someone like Miranda. She needed to be single and have therapy just like Carrie. Just saying because Carrie always gets called out but never Miranda.

Lets not forget SJP was an assistant producer in the series. In my opinion shes the most unattractive of the group. I wanted to reach through the tv and smack her so many times.
Even with the brilliant acting from the other 3 ladies, you can see they cannot stand her.
Episode after episode the other 3 would have a serious, life changing dilemma to discuss and Carries reaction would be I bumped into Big.
SJP and her no reason to have the ego she does makes this otherwise perfect show unwatchable

You forgot the scene in the Freaks episode where Carrie has a string of bad dates and then meets a decent guy with a Tweety tattoo. But she's so convinced that he's hiding something that she tries breaking into a locked box in his apartment after he leaves her alone. He returns and catches her trying to break into the box. He silently opens it and it is full of completely innocuous memorabilia. She knows to leave immediately. That scene was so painful to me that I would have put it as number one.

Currently re-watching the series. And Carrie really is one of the most horrible people ever. She's selfish, entitled, and judgmental. She makes everything about herself. In reality, her three friends would not stay friends with her for long. In the first season, she treated Big horribly and acted like a spoilt brat whilst doing it. She was awful to Aidan. She doesn't have many redeemable qualities at all.

Another tired, so longing to sound hip with the social media language Mojo vid. These videos get worse and worse. Nobody in the REAL world and not on social media says Meet Cute or Karen. Clearly was written in to attempt to sound trendy. And stop trying to criticize a xlassoc show, to push up all these awful blabs PC shows.

The gym guy was right. He couldn't trust Miranda. It wasn't just about being embarrassed, because he shouldn't have been. That's his thing and if the other partner consents, I don't see an issue.
But Miranda, like Carrie, was too nosy for her own good and screwed up a good thing.
Samantha would never do that

Where is the moment when Carrie talks with Berger's friend after she was dumped by a post-it? That's my cringiest moment!
Let's not forget when Charlotte calls Miranda when she decided to quit her job because ' Trey suggested' it. She dared to ask Miranda to stand behind her choice. That's cringy too!

reply

Leaving out all the BS with Big, some other episodes that were super cringy was when Carrie convinced the recovering alcholic to sleep with her and Miranda calling Skipper after seeing him with his new gf so he leaves his gf only for Miranda to have only wanted a booty call or whatever.
reply

There's an episode where Miranda dates a gorgeous man that she thinks is waaaay out of her league (is he a cop. Anyway, she's very giddy and gets drunk a lot so he dumps her. That's an episode I cringe at. Always thought Miranda was stronger than that. Is disapointing.
reply

Yeah, we know how it ended for Miranda: An unplanned pregnancy, a fling with Blair Underwood, a wedding, then Steve cheated on her, they got back together on The Brooklyn Bridge, she becomes tired of her work, and then she cheats with Calliope Torres. I mean, Che.
reply

However created the thumbnail for this video needs to be fired! They photoshopped it to the point Samantha and Charlotte are unrecognizable, specially Samantha. These are women are perfectly beautiful as they are, they dont need to be transformed into someone else!
reply

Huh. This show ended the year I graduated high school. I think the mindset of the time made it very difficult to be a teenager. Maybe we all felt it. I sometimes forget how hard it could be for my queer friends back then. And to be a woman it was a confusing time.
reply

I dont know if its just me but I never realized how up tight Carrie is on this new show it makes me not like her character at all anymore its hard to watch and definitely not the same without the narrating which I think Added to the show back then.
reply

You forgot a good one. Since I LOVE Samantha so much, I cringe every time I see her throw those melons through the window. Totally a moment of temporary insanity over Richard. Every single time, it's like I want to turn my head, but I watch anyway.
reply

MsMoJo IMO, its YOU that needs to LIGHTEN UP! Youre trying too hard in this video to be Politically Correct and not to offend any social group in the world and let me tell you (from a reformed people pleaser) YOU CANT PLEASE EVERYONE
reply

I'm sorry but Steve is not charming. I would never describe Steve as charming. Also Carrie uses her friends as free ATMs and then that's her big complaint and reason as to why she stopped talking to Samantha in And Just Like That.
reply

Aidan wasnt the perfect man, not to me. He was constantly trying to mold Carrie into the girlfriend he wanted her to be. Plus, WAY too much of a country bumpkin and I realise Im in a minority but I am not a dog person.
reply

Ive scrolled down a bit, and cant find anybody calling Carrie out on shamint Natasha for a spelling mistake.
As a dyslexic myself, it did and still does sting quite a lot where my heart i supposed to be.

reply

Willing to bet a winning lottery ticket that the people pretending to be shocked and appalled at Carrie's behavior and mistakes have ALL been Carrie at some point, whether they want to own it or not.
reply

Remember that these are fictional characters and despite what we agree with in the characters; it still was hugely successful bringing ppl to watch each and every episode over and over lol. I still miss it lol
reply

My biggest hate scene is every scene that Carrie disrespects Aiden (too many too count IMO. Practically every woman seeking the close to perfect man would give up a body part to have him. I know I would
reply

carrie is on the tryad of worst main characters in a tv show together with ross geller and ted mosby. she is manipulative, narcissistic and has no consideration for anyone elses feelings but her own
reply

I watched some of the SATC episodes on TBS, and definately don't watch AJLT. But, in the AJLT: are Miranda and Steve still together? I thought I head she has a girlfriend now in the new series?
reply

That woman at Mirandas baby shower shouldnt have dumped her baby on Miranda in the first place!
Newsflash! People dont have to hold your baby - not even pregnant women!

reply

Thats what a friend does. They help you. A Wasp telling someone to stand on their own is real rich. As far as Natasha, that was her man. You dont just let him go.
reply

Nah Charlotte was in the right. I wont lend friends money either, it just causes problems. Any friend who asks for money is only half your friend.
reply

All this solidifies why my least favorite one and always will be Carriecouldve done the whole series without heror a more bearable actress at least.
reply

Basically Carrie owns those moments from season 3 to 4. Specially her affaire with Big which caused so much damage specially for Aidan and Natasha.
reply

I was so proud of Charlotte. She stood up forbherself. And stood strong. And Carrie was horrible. I was very disappointed when char bailed her out
reply

The fact that Carrie 'apologized' to Natasha because she thought that her Karma was shot, and not out of genuine remorse, is just infuriating.
