Please tell me youre going to mention friends and family matters on this list because honestly I dont really care about full house, and I only watched about two episodes of the fresh Prince of Belair. Not to mention I only watch Seinfeld because of the information Watchmojo told me about it and it was confirmed so either or family, matters and friends are the only shows that caught my attention so far and theyre probably gonna be the only seconds in this world Im ever gonna like because there were two reasons why I watch the fresh prince of Belair one reason is because my late blues idol was in one of the episodes, and two watch mojo told me about it, because there was a father figure mention that show, and Ive actually been learning how to be one myself you dont have to act like youre interested Im just speaking my mind and FYI, I only watched married with children because again like the fresh prince of Belair, my late blues idol was in it in case, if you are confused, Im referring to the king of the blues himself. Riley B King known to fellow blues lovers, like myself as B. B. King

I've never seen one episode of Spin City, NewsRadio, or Mr Bean. And I never saw an episode of Living Single while it was current. I need to brush up apparently. The rest I probably watched somewhere between 90-100% of the episodes over time. Anecdotally, I'd say that's a good list.
Only because I doubt it'll get mentioned at all I wanna throw out Boston Common. Didn't last long, but it made me laugh a good bit.

I looooooove Home Improvement. I can watch the show over and over again, laugh at the same jokes and never get tired of it. My father is also working with tools (but better than Tim Taylor probably: D) and he also enjoyed to watch the show when I was younger.
really one of my favourite shows of all time and I'm glad it's on the list. (actually I just watched the video to check, IF it is on the list: D.

Friends being number 1 lmao! Whomever did this list should have criminal charges filed against them. I thought this list was the 20 best sitcoms of the 90s not most overrated. Friends is the most overrated, trash sitcom in the history of television. It wasnt funny or innovative. Just 6 boring unfunny actors with a lame sense of humor that actually has gotten worse over the years.

They put the 3 most over rated shows of the decade as the top 3. Not that they aren't funny shows but none were exactly groundbreaking.
Unlike shows like Murphy Brown or Family Matters (the 3rd longest running show featuring African American cast, and even Roseanne.
I think Dinosaurs needs some love on this list, very ahead of its time

I still do not know how the top 2 made it so popular when me and some of my friends thought that they suxed. I watched a few of those episodes and thought whats so funny about this? The others on this list on the other hand was way better in my book. Even Martin which I did not really car much about was better than Seinfeld, and Friends.

Please help, what was the medical sitcom that featured Dr. Sheridan, the receptionist Maria that made people stay back of the white line, and nurse Corie? Eve was head of the emergency clinic. Sorry, but not not remembering star names either, but loved the series and would like to find it again. Another great character was nurse Joan.

My personal favorite TV shows are Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, The Simpsons, Seinfeld, Fraiser, Cheers and The Golden Girls! I have a pretty long list of TV shows I watch, but these are just my faves. I think you could tell that I like 90s TV shows and if I would have to pick a favorite from these, it's Friends.
reply

The Nanny was my fave! Still watch it! I loved Fresh Prince, Boy Meets World, Martin, Family Matters, Living Single. I liked 3rd Rock, Murphy Brown, Saved by the Bell. But I couldn't stand Mad about you or Everybody loves Raymond, Seinfield, or Rosanne. The rest didnt feel one way or the other about.
reply

Friends maybe #1 on this list. But it's aged about the worst of anything from the entire last 50 years. The characters are all dislikeable in hindsight.
For me I can still binge 3rd Rock From The Sun or Married With Children from this list. Any of the others I couldn't be bothered with.

reply

So glad to see The Nanny so high up on the list, though it should ve been top 3. That show was just great and deserves more credit than it gets. Though more popular, I dont think Friends and Seinfield are that great, and to me are just overrated.
reply

Wow, I completely forgot about News Radio.
I remember watching it with my grandmother; we loved our TV evenings with series like these, but she really sat down for News Radio.
Great memories!

Will definitely be hoping for eventual part 2 please, here's a mini list with Sabrina the teenage witch and my wife and kids in the list, please and thank you for listening to my request
reply

There's 1 very big difference between friends & living single
The guys on living single were very Cool while on friends they were not.
Otherwise someone owes a little residuals

reply

Im shocked Full House wasnt on this list. It started in the late 80s and went into the 90s and it was super popular. Also Sister, Sister was another great show from the 90s.
reply

Kind of regret showing my son Mr bean, just for the fact that he LOVES Mr Bean, unfortunately haven't found new episodes on Hulu to watch some old/new episodes, help yall?
reply

The 90s were a time. We had phenomenal shows during that decade. It was definitely also a time for comedians to shine in their own shows. And they did not disappoint!
reply

I watched every episode of over half of this list. Top 4 tied would be Roseanne, Frasier, Friends, and Seinfeld. Ive rewatched all of these and will again and again.
reply

friends Seinfeld fresh prince of bel air full house boy meets world everybody loves Raymond sister sister and family matters are some of my favorite 90s sitcoms
reply

Newsradio was not able to recover from Phil Hartman death It only last one season when they tried to replace him with Jon Lovitz but his character was so annoying
reply

I would swap places between 3rd Rock and Mad About You. 3rd Rock was far funnier and a much better show. Also Grace Under Fire should have been there.
reply

So many amazing shows I loved to watch here in USA I grew up watching Mr. Bean back in Finland Seinfeld is the one I can watch over and over again; )
reply

Sinfield never got into it. Being funny, maybe for white ppl, not for black, and Puerto Ricans. Seinfeld is definitely a White person's show.
reply

YOU BUGGARS! You're obsessed with Friends, aren't you? Frasier, Seinfeld and even Home Improvement are millions better than that show!
reply

I'm sorry, but for me The Nanny deserves the number one spot. The humor has survived the decades much better than friends for me.
reply

And for my Saved by the Bell lovers, don't look up Zack Morris is Trash on here. You'll never look at it the same again.
reply

Thank you for mentioning Mad About You! Its in my top three favorite sitcoms and I feel like nobody ever talks about it!
reply

I can't deny the fact that Seinfeld was a well loved staple of 90s television, but I never saw the appeal personally.
reply

And yes, Friends was a carbon copy of Living Single. Its been confirmed. At least it was in the top 10, I guess.
reply

One of the most underrated sitcoms of the 90s, Imho, has to be the CBS show Cybil (starring Cybill Shepherd)
