ANY of the honorable mentions would've been better than that Taylor Swift piece of crap. I'm even including Walking on Sunshine which absolutely grates on my very last freakin' nerve. I'd still rather listen to Walking on Sunshine playing on non-stop repeat for a solid week over 10 seconds of anything by Taylor Swift.
reply

I'd add:
Rhythm of the Night - DeBarge
Walkin' on Sunshine - Katrina & the Waves
Nothin's Gonna Stop Us Now - Starship
We Built This City - Starship
Roar - Katy Perry
Fight Song - Rachel Platten
The Call - Regina Spektor
Eye of the Tiger - Survivor
Break My Stride - Matthew Wilder

reply

Yes to all of these but one especially towards the end of the work day, now that I don't hear it all the time in the Carnival Cruises commercials, Bang on The Drum by Todd Rundgren. When the lockdowns happened that became such a hype song for me, despite never really caring about it before.
reply

2 of 10 singers in this list is my idol. Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars. I have 3 favorite singer, actually, but another one is NOT pop singer + not on this list.
By the way, CONGRATULATIONS, Queen! You are absolutely legend!

Whaaaaaaaaaat? You picked WRONG Abba song -Dancing Queen is a boringly slow-paced snooze fest?
WATERLOO!
Super pumped-up, fast-paced energized and, in Muriel Wedding movie, hysterical karaoke turned girl fight scene

reply

I'm pretty sure if this was chart based (idk if it is or not) regardless, how did Ricky, Alanis, or Nirvana, not actually be placed on this list. Maybe it's just my Era, but holy moly I think TRL would disagree
reply

First time I've seen a list of honorable mentions should've been on the list.
Add Can't Touch This by M. C. Hammer and Bust a Move by Young M. C..
Maybe y'all should have done a top 20.

reply

Literally anything by The Midnight, many kpop songs, and many emo songs all get me the most pumped. Nothing like hearing the beginning of Emo World to get a Friday night going (IYKYK.
reply

Honorable Mention also goes to Beat It from Michael Jackson.
But (besides that Michael is the king of Pop) just about almost any of Michaels song can get us pumped

reply

Good as Hell has always been my go-to song for when I want to feel like I can take on the world. Lizzo really knows how to spread those positive vibes.
