Feuds in Hollywood have been occurring since time immemorial. I really wasn't aware of those TV shows feuds, even though a few shows from your list were telecast in my part of the world. Most actors who become sensations overnight, with little or no struggle, suddenly start throwing tantrums because they don't approve of the parts they are being offered. They talk big about wanting to be nominated for an Oscar with just a few releases. These actors are either suspended or dropped from their contracts because they make derogatory remarks about the work being offered to them and also unflattering remarks against the studio. Case in point is Lori Nelson, who was dropped from the TV show: How to marry a millionaire because of her derogatory remarks against Fox studios. There were rumours about feuds between those sister Olivia De Havilland and Joan Fontaine, plus who can forget those Gabor sisters, Zsa Zsa and Eva? If there was one scandal or feud that hit the world it was the one between that vixen Elizabeth Taylor and our sweet Debbie Reynolds. Even in 2023, the world will never forgiven Taylor for snatching away Eddie Fisher from Debbie and leaving her life in tatters. Debbie slowly picked up the pieces of her life and soldiered on, the great trouper that she was. Taylor dropped Fisher like an old shoe once she found Richard Burton [on the set of Cleopatra] to quench her ever-lusting thirst. Despite all her declared beauty and the so-called mauve eyes, i can never be called a Liz Taylor fan because she was the devil incarnate. From all Debbie Reynolds fans, we are sure you are in Heaven sweet Debs, and we all love you!

Feud 1: Susan Sarandon, while a great actress (despite being the catalyst in our country's downfall by handing the election to W with her insistence on dividing people to shoehorn Nader into the conversation, couldn't hold a candle to the fabulous Bette Davis. Feud 2: While I loved Crawford, by all accounts she was a horrible human being. Davis was no saint herself, but paled in comparison to Crawford in misdeeds. Bette far outshone the just above average Joan. Feud 3: Any universe in which Frank Sinatra could pose ANY even miniscule threat to Marlon Brando's acting chops is laughable at best; tragedy at worst - unless it was a music battle. Old Blue Eyes could only surpass Brando for The Godfather if they decided they wanted a real mobster instead of an actor who brilliantly played the horrific but also loveable Vito Corleone. On the Waterfront, Guys and Dolls - Marlon was fantastic. Even on his hammiest day he was lightyears ahead of Sinatra in the acting world. Lastly, Doherty may have been a bit of a hellion over the years, Milano was a beyotch. Still is.

To save her life Raquel Welch could not act like Deborah winger in films such as terms of endearment or officer and a gentleman. It's not like they were replacing her with a much younger bombshell female actor. Her acting I'm sure sucked it was like watching one of those really bad TV movies of the week TV networks used to have. They saw her sucking acting and said so we have to listen to her giving us problems everyday on set and she sucks also? Even if Deborah winger gave them a lot of problems at least she's really talented. Remember that to win a lawsuit like that all the female has to do is be good at crying on the witness stand. There's an idiot woman who made many people believe that justice kavanaugh raped her and she sucked at crying she could not even produce tears during any of her crying on the witness stand.

I have a very hard time believing Sinatra wanted to be the Don in the Godfather. VERY hard time. The character Johnny Fontaine was rumored to be based on him, therefore, confirming the rumors that he had strong Mafia connections, both things he vehemently denied. How can you be in the Godfather, especially portraying the Godfather, and not have people conjecture you actually are a Mafioso? The movie did have lesser roles played by actual hit men. Too much has been written about this and documentaries made about the making of the Godfather that talk about Sinatra's hatred of the movie and Fontaine, especially.

Dont believe everything you read or hear about Bette and Joan. Joan Crawfords biggest enemy was MGM. She was one of Hollywoods biggest Stars in the early 1930s, but her biggest threat was Greer Garson who became queen of the Lot. Bette Davis had more beef with an actress called Miriam Hopkins than Crawford. That Feud series was fake and full of lies. Although there was beef between them, they both respected each other.

Why is this comprised almost entirely of female celebs? So make celeb feuds dont count? Im confused because that Jay Leno and David Letterman feud for example was notorious yet it only made the honorable mentions list. Same for Rock and Vin Diesel. You seem to want to pay more attention to drama between women. which is VERY interesting.

Jayne Mansfield, who was the bride of Hercules (Mickey Hargitay) and the mother of Justice (Mariska Hargitay) had an IQ of 149.
Elizabeth Taylor was. great as (but a little too old to play) Cleopatra. I am thinking of her scenes with Julius Caesar (Rex Harrison) they really needed a younger version of the actress for that.

2: 48 ok I need to correct this: yes Marilyn didnt like Jayne Mansfield. But Sophia Loren didnt have a problem with her in fact she liked her but the picture caught her looking at Jaynes breasts more out of curiosity. To this day when people ask her to autograph that picture she says no. out of respect for Jayne

Did Shannon Doherty get on with anyone? Every story about her suggests she's a nightmare.
Then there was Marilyn Monroe and Tony Curtis, Marilyn Monroe and Ethel Merman, Marilyn Monroe and Richard Widmark.
What about Madonna and Lady Gaga? Or does that not count because only one of them is an actor?

I still love charmed even though I haven't watched it in a few years, it sucks that Prue died and she actually could have lived even with Rose McGowan still coming on as the fourth sister, the show would have been so much better with all four of them defeating instead of just with only three of them

The bottom line with broom-hilda nose SJP & Beauuutiful Kim Cattrell was/is J E A L O U S Y!
Just go back to 1984/85. KC was the gorgeous star of Mannequin, SJP was an ugly, frumpy, bad hair teen on Square Pegs.
Fast Forward to SiTC. Kim looked the same as in 85' and so did sjp!

Excellent list. Honorable mentions: Olivia De Havilland vs. Warner Brothers, Shirley MacLaine vs. Debra Winger and Richard Gere vs. Debra Winger. It is said that Debra was notorious for being difficult to work with. The legendary Bette Davis said I see myself in Debra Winger

The feud between Olivia and Joan came down to their mother. She always elevated Olivia and thought Joan a throwaway. The best example of this is that Joan wasn't allowed to professionally use the de Havilland name because their mother literally said she wasn't worthy.

I read that Brando 'played a star' on the set and treated everyone around like crap, was late and constantly disrespected Sinatra. that's why Sinatra couldn't stand him. And i believe this version because Brando was one of the most shitty persons in Hollywood

Betty vs. Joan: one called the other Hollywood's worse case of syphilis and while she screamed constantly, the other knitted a scarf that stretched halfway to Malibu. I'm not even going to mention which of the two in particular said or did what.

When I saw the Fresh Prince of Bel Air Reunion, I was unaware of the Tension between Will Smith and Janet Hubert from back then. But I am just glad that both of them are on good terms again. They are both such Great Actors/Actresses. I Love them.

I loved it when Carrie Fisher talked about her father's dalliance with Elizabeth Taylor. Carrie was so savage and funny: When Mike Todd died in a plane crash, my father rushed to Elizabeth's side. and gradually worked his way around to her front.

Johnny Carson vs. Joan Rivers. He was absolutely horrible to her. He was paying her, as Joan said, Pee on money. She left Carson to star in her own show at $15M a year. Johnny never spoke to her again. He was such an awful man.

I'd be surprised if the Davis/Crawford feud wasn't number one. I remember hearing that they came to blows during the filming of their movie. Also. the BOMBASTIC side-eye Sofia Laurent gave to Jayne Mansfield was priceless.

Sarah Jessica Parker is a fool. If someone doesn't like you & they've said so, especially to your face, then you should forget about saying that there's no issues to everyone else. Honesty is the very best policy

I'm surprised the decades-long tension between Anthony Daniels and Kenny Baker wasn't on the list especially seeing as their most famous roles in R2-D2 & C-3PO led them to do 7 movies together

Sinatra was a massively talented person, but not the greatest actor. He would not have made as good a Sky Masterson. However, it was as if the part of Nathan Detroit was written for Frank.

Marilyn was never anything but kind to Jayne. Please don't malign such a sweet and intelligent lady. Why not feature something cool like Marilyn's friendship with Ella Fitzgerald?

It's a shame the studio contributed so much to the feud between Bette and Joan, thinking that if they pitted the two women against each other, they'd get better performances.

Sara Jessica Parker was always a bratty diva from what many cast members have said in the past. Maybe some humility would do her good. No one likes a bully.
