I can only assume you left off animation because it would turn into a list of Top 20 Funniest Simpsons episodes, but we will go with the old standby of Last Exit to Springfield:
We cant bust heads like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to tell stories that dont go anywhere, like the time I caught the ferry to Shelbyville. I needed a new heel for my shoe, so I caught the ferry to Morganville, which is what we called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now to take the ferry cost a nickel, which in those days had bumblebees on them. Gimme five bees for a quarter, youd say. Now where was Ioh yeah. The important thing was that I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. We didnt have any white onions, because of the war. All you could find was those big yellow ones

This list is an example of recency bias gone too far. Yes, I Love Lucy was number one but the next sequencial episode on the list is from The Golden Girls which was some 30 years later. Aside from the fact that 'Chuckles Bites the Dust' is probably the greatest episode of TV ever made and wasn't even given an honorable mention, there is also the third season premier of 'The Dick Van Dyke Show' titled 'That's my Boy? ' which when filmed received the longest laugh from a studio audience ever and I believe it still stands as such. I also think that while the Frasier episode picked is pretty funny, there are better, specifically 'The Matchmaker' from season 2.

If your #1 was going to be I love Lucy it should have been the one where Lucy and Ethel worked in the chocolate factory. But you really messed up forgetting the Two Guys and a, Girl episode The One Without Dialog. From Berg's misadventure attempting to find a way to rinse the shampoo out of his hair when the water was turned off mid shower to Traylor Howard's waiting for a stray dog to expel her accidentally swallowed wedding ring to Pete's mistaken mugging in the park. Even Berg's girlfriend being chased by several angry pregnant women has you gasping for air because you are laughing so hard.

I can't believe that pointed out Master of his/my domain became a famous phrase after the Seinfeld episode, but you didn't point out that going commando (going without underwear, while first identified in U. S. student slang in 1976, actually became famous and widespread after Joey used it in Friends. Considering that the writers were of an age to have experienced the usage on campus in the late 70's it's not surprising they put the term in there, but it wasn't at all widely known and in common usage until 1996 and Joey introducing the term to millions of viewers at a time.

When I started this video I thought, They better choose The Fire Drill from the office, because I was laughing so hard I was crying for the first 10 minutes of that episode. You almost chose it. The Office is always funny, but I never laughed so hard. The one you chose is funny but I wasn't laughing out loud during it.
Also on Frasier when Niles is getting ready for a date and starts a fire while ironing. That one had me in tears too.

Im watching The Office for the first time with my mom right now. Shes seen it multiple times but I never have. There are so many hilarious episodes in that show. The Fire Drill one made me laugh more than any other episode but the Dinner Party episode was so incredibly awkward and hilarious in all the right ways! Oh my gosh! Its so funny and cringy and over the top! Its so good!

This list basically neglected the '70s and '80s and was stacked after 2000. I would have put on And Now, Here's Jack from Three's Company when Jack gives a disastrous local TV cooking performance with Janet and Terri, and The Brady Bunch's Peter and the Wolf, where Peter wears a fake mustache and pretends to be Phil Packer to double-date with Greg.

Great shows but personally I have some different episodes
Frazier - Niles & Frazier Restaurant
Big Bang - The parking space
Lucy - The assembly line or the crushing of the grapes
WKRP - Turkey would be in my top 10
Taxi - anything with Jim
Carol Burnett - Gone with the Wind parody (ok it's a variety show skit

Lucy Does A Commercial. man. I will never forget the first time I saw that episode. I laughed till I couldnt breathe! I had tears in my eyes and I was in so much pain but it was all so worth it! It is such an iconic and hilarious scene even after almost 70 years!

Life in Pieces, either S1E5 or S1E8. The new parents are too overprotective with cleaning only to get skunked, or the Thanksgiving episode where Colleen's rice gives everyone gas. Both have me crying laughing every time! Such an underappreciated show!

Usually when there's a funniest sitcom episode list, Chuckles Bites the Dust from The Mary Tyler Moore Show makes the list--and for good reason. Figured that (or something from The Dick Van Dyke Show) would at least have an honorable mention

The majority of these shows were made after 1990. There are lots of laugh out moments that were missed from pre-1990. whoever compiled this list should broaden their horizons or make the titles more specific (e. g not name them of all time.

Dick van Dyke Show, season 4 ep 10: Pink Pills & Purple Parents. Flashback to a very nervous Laura meeting Rob's parents for the first time, so she takes some of Millie's pills. Even funnier than the iconic It May Look Like a Walnut.

Home Sweet Homeschool from George Lopez. (I just like theres an Angie and Carmen episode) and The Will or the irs episode from Reba. Any episode where Reba, BJ and Brock have to be in most of the episode together are great.

The Matchmaker episode of Frasier is hysterical. Frasier's new boss is gay, unbeknownst to Frasier. Frasier invites him to dinner to set him up with Daphne. But Frasier's boss assumes Frasier is gay. Love it!

So glad you included the IT Crowd. That episode actually makes me laugh out loud. So many great scenes - it was the defining moment that turned a good sitcom into a great one.

Okay, just stop shoving the gift episode down our throats, it's not even that funny. The actual funniest episode ever of TBBT is the one where Sheldon becomes a robot.

I may not always agree with your top picks, but you definitely called it this time. That is the funniest episode of a TV series I've ever seen, and it never gets old
