As pleased as I am to see A Walk To Remember on the list, the scene is not the scene that makes me cry every single time I watch the movie. Even after the 50th time watching, I still start the waterworks after she tells him she's dying. And the songs that follow during the drive and his encounter with his father. Heck, the tears prolly start when he puts her in 2 places at once, but that's happy, not sad. After her reveal, the tears just keep coming scene after scene after. Dancing with mom. The hug with dad after he paid for home health care. His friends coming back to him after. It's 20 minutes of tears!

One scene from a movie that I believe deserves a honorable mention is the lake scene in All The Bright Places. This was a film about depression and thoughts of suicide and it follows two high school students name Violet and Finch. In the third act, Finch started having a downward spiral and behaving increasingly erratic. Scared for him, Violet tries to go after him to help him, but ends up finding his clothes lying by the lake that they swam in before, showing that he had just drowned. In a heart wrenching scene, Violet breaks down and starts crying, calling his name and saying Marco.

I am very saddened by Leslie's death in Brigde to Terabithia, I don't know what a strange feeling it was when the screen looked like that when Leslie, in the rain, waved goodbye to Jess, smiling; and you're right, I wouldn't have wanted to see how horrible it was when the rope broke; I didn't want to believe Leslie had really died, she was so fantastic and it's so sad to lose a best friend. It also makes me sad in Soul Surfer how bad Bethany got about her arm that she lost and how she could continue surfing.

This movie was really sad The hate u give as Khalil gets pulled over Starr and Khalil was just catching up and she tries to tell them to put his hands up and he only did grab a hairbrush and then the dumbest thing that cop ever did was shot him I was like bro what did he do, he didn't even have a weapon he was holding a hairbrush that still makes me feel like I feel really bad Khalil and Starr watching him dying

#7 The film was so bad that I walked out
#5 More like A movie to forget
#4 a disgusting film that promotes underage romance rather than condemn it like it should be.
#3 a movie that does to cancer what Twilight did to vampires. This film was awful.
#1 one of the best teen movies ever made.

Personally, I think the saddest ending 218 movie is the final scene in the last American version in which the hero sells everything he has to pay for his dream girls abortion, only to find her going back to the jerk who got her pregnant and left her.

Neil taking his own life and the boys' reaction to the news or the last Captain! My Captain from Dead Poets Society. This movie will always be my favorite but damn does it know how to play with your emotions.

The scene from If I Stay that always gets me is towards the end when Mia's grandpa is giving his speech to her about staying or leaving. I don't cry a lot or often at movies but this scene gets me every time.

Great list. I would add the scene in Little Darlings (1980) where Angel (Kristy McNichol) goes through emotional pain and change trying to win a silly bet with Ferris (Tatum ONeal. Such a great movie

Jesse losing Leslie in Bridge To Terabithia was so sad. We all understand the feeling of grief, and even more tragic is the loss of a child.
