Top 10 Hardest Whitney Houston Songs to Sing

You need one heck of a voice to match Whitney Houston's pitch. For this list, well be looking at the late singers most technically and/or emotionally challenging numbers that rightfully earned her her reputation as the The Voice. Our countdown includes So Emotional, I'm Every Woman, Run to You, and more! Which Whitney Houston song do YOU find the most intimidating to sing?
Date: 2023-11-21

Run To You is actually way harder to sing than I Have Nothing. The latter gets recognized more as a difficult song because of the dramatic key change before the final chorus. However, Run To You requires consistently difficult sustained high notes all throughout the song, as well as complex melismas and runs absent from I Have Nothing. I would have rated her most difficult songs this way:
1) Didnt We Almost Have It All
2) Run To You
3) All The Man That I Need
4) I Have Nothing
5) I Will Always Love You
6) One Moment In Time
7) Im Your Baby Tonight
8) The Greatest Love Of All
9) Im Every Woman
10) So Emotional

Holly crap! Im a metal head head banger, whatever yall want to call it but Whitney! Man that VOICE! now understand. Geoff Tate from Queensrych was the voice when I was very youngand then came Whitney HoustonHOLY SHIT, the power the control the emotion. and she made it look so easy, I was a closet Whitney fan in The 80s and came out to my wife and all those that always thought I was a Rocker a metal head in the very early 2000, s and ya know what I found out. THEY ALSO WERE CLOSET WHITNEY FANS. she will always be amazing to me everything g she did was amazing

Joy to the World is not easy either for the faint at heart it keeps modulating which means if you are a pure soprano you wont be able to sing the lower alto notes and if you are an alto you won't be able to get into her upper range, if you are a mezzo soprano you will have trouble fluctuating between natural to head voice and since the song is fast good luck!
Then there's I love the lord even if you can sing the song you have to put feeling into and if you lack feeling you should have picked another song.

All The Man That I Need should have been at the top of this list. It is easily Whitney Houston's most vocally challenging song, showcasing her technical abilities. I Will Always Love You is given too much credit, mainly because of the long-held note at the end. However, truthfully, Whitney's voice was starting to lose its crystalline quality and agility during the recording of the Bodyguard soundtrack. She was straining on notes in ways that she never did on her first three albums.

Miracle is not easy to do either constantly jumping from different textures from mixed voice, natural, full chest voice and her natural was really high and the breath control, vibrato and if you don't know what you are doing it can leave you with temporary vocal paralysis because the voice is tired.

What people dont know is that Houston was a ladyboy.
Transformed into a star. He got his testicles cut off to reach these high notes.
Same with many opera singers.
And Mariah Carey! I was her fan but after I found out that she is a biological male with his generals cut off.
Sorry.

For me Run To You would be the hardest in all of her songs. I could finish singing I Have Nothing in karaoke but Run to You is so difficult. Like the last chorus has so many vocal shifts from belts to head voice.
