9: 04 I wouldnt say Catra or Adora were devoted to their respective causes in the true personal sense as Adora, while being a most compassionate person, largely fought for the Rebellion out of a significantly indoctrinated sense of duty for whom she considered the good guys even though personally what she really wanted was to stay with Catra (which she eventually acts on by the final season)
Catra in turn also wants to stay by her best friends side but her feelings of betrayal (which to be perfectly honest WAS Adoras fault, however unintentional it was) fuelled her need to feel safe through power but she never actually believed in or cared about the Hordes conquering of Etheria & in the end, realises its the last thing she wants.

From competitive cutthroat rivals to respecting lovers there is a strong development between them during TDWT-TDAS, by following the troope of haters to lovers regarding their complicated relantioship and the same can be applied to Ryan and Stephanie in TDRR, as they were love dovey as LOVERS in the first 6 episodes of the race then turning into hateful rivals as HATERS at each other throats by arguing bickering and going at it for 15 episodes (almost half the race episode 7-22) and becoming LOVERS again when they got eliminated in Darjeel With It episode 23.

Personally Jack and Ashi ismessy in my opinion. Dont get me wrong I LOVE their interactions together and Ashlis development (even though they got 10 episodes) at least episodes 4 through 7 but considering the context of Jack age past 50 years by time paradox shit and Ashi being technically a teenager makes the whole thing kinda weird. I wouldve preferred them being a adopted Father/Daughter relationship
Then again I think about Avatar TLA with Aang technically being a 112 year old kid so Im probably wrong

Lumity will ALWAYS be among my top favorite animated couples. I'm really glad Disney didn't interfere in this relationship blooming. Well, I know they initially were against it, but thanks to Dana Terrace's persistence, Disney finally got an animated LGBTQIA+ relationship with an animated series protagonist. Again, they should've given The Owl House more credit than they did. If only they saw as the masterpiece it is like all of us.

Love She-ra and Love Owl House. Luz Amity wasn't the best example IMO. They're a great couple and a solid example of healthy relationship. They were not enemies very long and were barely enemies at that. Granted I think if Dana had more time this would have been explored more, and fleshed out more naturally. But thems the breaks with Disney sadly, you have to pace quickly in advance in preparation of the inevitable

The thing about Fluttershy and Discord is that while it is true that their relationship went from enemies to something more, They were sadly never confirmed to be an official couple in the mlp canon, I mean it was hinted that they were but whether they are or not is entirely up to the viewer because speculation. Though most of people in the fandom think that they are.

Let's face it, Adora and Catra were destined to get together. It just took a long time to get there.
If you're not a fan of the owl house, then you are missing out. It's fun, enjoyable and every episode brings something new. The friendship and finally the relationship for Lumity blossoms throughout and you can't help root for them in the end.

Ahh, it seemed just like yesterday that Amity was trying to kill Luz. Seriously they could've done her arc better. Her parents making her abandon her old friends should've made her only cold and distant, not sociopathicaly hurtful in her debut episode. The enemies to lovers cliche need to be done carefully otherwise it glorifies domestic abuse.

amity and luz are NOT an example of the enemies to lovers trope, and the reason why is you need to BE ENEMIES for that to happen, luz was Never amity's enemy, amity was just very and justifiably angry with luz for helping willow cheat on her project at school and then getting her sent to principal bump's office, so yeah, they don't count.

Yeah no Doubt that Lumity would be the #1 ship on Enemies to Lovers. Dana Terrace and her crew certainly poured their soul into making this ship and it paid off!
No matter what Dana Terrace does in the future, and how her for better or for worse Lumity will DEFINITELY be one for the LGBT history books!

I agree with all the others but I'm pretty sure Fluttershy and discord are only friends and just that, cuz it'd be really weird if they were in that kind of relationship even if there are a few fan fiction stories like that, I'm also creating one like that eventually

Honestly Catradora wasn't just enemies to lovers, it was childhood friends to enemies to more than friends to lovers, all neatly wrapped in slowburn. It's perfection from a dramatic point of view.
As for Lumity. how can you not love their adorableness.

Ashi and Jack from Samurai Jack and Gwen and Kevin from Ben 10 are great as well.
So is Luz and Amity. Not a fan for Catra and Adora it is toxic as heck man.

I wouldve put Catradora above Lumity for #1 given that Catra & Adora were enemies for a lot longer than Luz & Amity were (3 years to be exact, while Luz & Amity were only enemies/rivals a few weeks at most)
