Today we're counting down our picks for that one. Friends episode from each of its 10 seasons. That couldn't be more quintessential to this beloved series, or its enduring legacy. The pages are stuck together. Chandler, season 1, the one with the blackout. Okay, thank you very much. We can't create a list of essential friends episodes without mentioning the pilot, aka the one where it all began. It introduces the group who would come to feel like our own friends over the 10 seasons. However, episode 7 arguably stands out as one of the season's best. It centers around a citywide power outage during NBC's blackout, thursday, a theme that ran through several of their New York-based sitcoms. This episode became iconic for various reasons, including its role in popularizing the term friend zone. Waited too long to make your move. And now you're in the friend zone. No, no. I'm not in the zone. Oh, ross, you're mayor of the zone. We also just enjoy watching the dynamics between the main cast. Well, except Chandler, who's stuck in an ATM vestibule with Jill Goodacre. Everything about this episode is perfection. If Jill Goodacre offers you gum. You take it. If she offers you mangled animal carcass, you take it. Season 2. The one with the prom video. This episode sees one of the SER most important relationships take its next step. That's right. Chandler and Joey become bracelet buddies. That's what we call them. Hey, this is a little extra something for, you know, always being there for me. Wow. I don't know what to say. Wow, I don't know what to say. Of course, it also marks a major turning point in Ross and Rachel's will. They won't. They? Narrative, just as we think there may be no coming back from that list, fiasco, A prom video, throwback, turns everything around Rachel, ready or not. Here comes your night in Shining. Oh, no bye. But first, let's just take a moment to appreciate those unmistakably. 80s looks anyway. Rachel learns what Ross was willing to do for her. And the rest, as they say, is history. This episode has the perfect balance of humor and heart and gives us all hope that one day we'll find our lobsters too. See, he's her lobster. Season 3, the one where no one's ready. While every member of this principal cast is strong, our favorite season 3 episodes prove that they're at their peak as an ensemble. Monica, it's Richard, call me. Is that message old or new Old or no old or no it's old. It's definitely old. Didn't You hear the double beep. The chaos in the one with the football is UOR, ISly hilarious. Yet, this bottle episode unfolding predominantly in the purple apartment in real time is a paragon of greatness from start to finish. Ross's patience is tested as a string of hilarious antics, delays the gang from getting ready for his big event. Monica fixates on a voicemail from her ex. Richard. Phoebe needs to conceal a humain and Rachel grapples with wardrobe decisions. Relatable. You guys does this look like something the girlfriend of a paleontologist would wear? I don't know. You might be the first one. Meanwhile, chandler and Joey fight over a chair, yielding some of the best, most hilarious quotes of the episode. If not the series. Look at me. I'm Chandler. Could I be wearing any more clothes? Season 4. The one with the embryos quick. Who's Chandler and Joey's TV guide address to. Oh, chandler gets it? It's Chandler, bang! No, I'm afraid. The TV guide comes to Chandeler-bong. What's the name and profession of Joey's imaginary childhood friend. His name was Maurice Correct. His profession was space cowboy, correct? How many towel categories? Does Monica keep no. 11. Unbelievable. 11 is correct. Yes. Ross's trivia game is the comedic centerpiece of the episode, providing hilarious insights into our friends as they battle to prove who knows the other best. The questions and competitive banter, bring out the best and funniest moments, and quiz master. Ross is always welcome to our next game night, amid the antics. Phoebe breaks tensions with the exciting news that she's pregnant. Speaking of memorable season 4 moments. The finale packs unexpected twists and turns, leaving our jaws on the ground with one of the most unforgettable sitcom, cliffhangers. Hi, ross, take the Emily. Take the Rachel Emily, season 5, the one where everybody finds out. Choosing a standout. Season 5 episode poses quite a dilemma. The one with all the resolutions, offers ample comedy, but we're also thankful for the one with all the thanksgivings. It's stuck step. How did you get on? I put it on to scare Chandler. Oh my God. Monica's going to totally freak out. Well, then help me get it off. Also, the one with the cop is why many of us can't turn a corner without yelling. Pivot. P. Pipot However, our ultimate pick is another ensembl-driven gem, where laughter fills practically every moment, poor Joey gets entangled in Phoebe and Rachel's scheme to make Chandler and Monica confess to their relationship. Meanwhile, ross goes to great lengths to secure ugly naked guys apartment. The highlight is Phoebe using her sexuality to crack Chandler, which works, and brings a heart-melting twist. I can't have sex with. And why not? Because I'm in love with Monica. You're what, just when the story line seems wrapped up. Ross adds a final Sid splitting note. What are you doing? Get off my sister. Number six, the one where Ross got high friends, served numerous unforgettable Thanksgiving episodes, but this one is as delicious as a traditional English trifle without beef, sauteed with peas and onions. Of course, it tastes like feet. I like it. Joey's pouting, because he wanted to spend the holiday with his roommate. Janine and her dancer friends. Phbe reels from a steamy dream about. Jack Geller and Rachel takes on dessert duty. Chandler learns that Mr and Mrs. Geller, don't like him triggering a comedic chain of confessions. Raw smoked pot in college. What you are such a tattletail season 6 is also responsible for, why will never be able to order Freshwater eel without saying Unagi. The season finale also deserves a shout out for taking us on a wild ride, culminating with the perfect proposal. It's everything, friends, fans could have wanted and more. Season 7, the one with the holiday armadillo. It is the season for celebrations from weddings to holidays and milestone birthdays. Yet, for many friends fans, the fest of spirit truly begins with a visit from the holiday armadillo. W. Oh, thanks. You're welcome. Ben. Merry Christmas. O. And happy H. Ross hopes to teach Ben about hanukkah this holiday season, but he's more interested in Christmas and its MVP. Santa Ross. Ultimately caves, but unable to secure a last minute. Santa costume gets creative or desperate. You be the judge Chandler, and Joey. Add to the hilarity with their own costume finds. Meanwhile, phoebe showers Joey with gifts to drive Rachel out of the apartment and back to their newly renovated home. Oh god, rachel, what? I'm sorry, what was I thinking giving Joey This big gross, scary, spider. The episode's charm stems from its seamless blend of festive cheer, cultural exploration and an abundance of laugh. Out loud moments. I'll give the suit back. Hey, you think you can keep it another night. Season 8, the one with the rumor, friends, hs. An impressive roster of guest stars. But the audience's uproar at this one's reveal speaks volumes. Happy, thanksgiving. A thanks. God, will, I'm so glad that you came. Brad Pit, then married to Jennifer Aniston Plays, will Colbert? Ross's high school friend and co founder of the I hate Rachel Club. God. So, what do you all just join together to hate me? Who else was in this club, me and Ross. Despite the onscreen tension, his chemistry with the cast, especially Aniston, is exceptional. The chicken and the turkey and everything on the other side of the table. The smell is just typical. I'm sorry, what I said, it was typical of you. Rachel Green, queen. Rachel does whatever she wants in a little Rachel Land, even earning him an Emmy nomination. This episode is packed with laughter and mayhem, showcasing Pit's effortless comedic prowess. Yes, some of its subject matter aged poorly, but pit, seamless integration with the cast, elevates the episode to a timeless classic. Phoebe. Isn't the only one who wants to see more of will. Oh, you know what we mean. Oh, come on. Will just take off your shirt. And tell us season 9, the one in Barbados parts one and two. We couldn'! t talk about this season without mentioning Christina Applegates Emmy-winning performance as Rachel's abrasive sister. Amy. Hold on a second. You guys die, and I don'! t get your baby. I mean, see, we're a lot closer to Monica and Chandler. We see them every day and truthfully, honey. You don't seem very connected to the baby. Connected. I mean, to what she's a lump. Yet, the real gem of the season lies in the two-part finale. It's a roller coaster of romantic tension. Laughs and surprising twists. The gang joined by Charlie David and Monica's hair Jets off to Barbados for Ross's keynote address, but make sure we get a king-sized bed. Oh, david, get one for us too. Oh, and see if they have a heart-shaped one, and with mirrors on the ceiling while there, phoebe turns down David's proposal and gets back together with Mike. Meanwhile, monica's competitive spirit, much like her hair, flares up, it's the humidity and the Ross. Charlie, joey. Rachel loves saga takes a captivating turn. By the time they head home, almost everyone has recoupled. Also, joey and Rachel's kiss had us teetering on the edge of our seats until the season 10 premiere. If you're on your phone, make sure you go into your settings and switch on notifications. Season 10. . The one with Ross's tan. Speaking of Joey and Rachel's unexpected kiss. This episode shows their hilarious attempts at a first date. Needless to say, it also becomes their last I'm sorry. Again, I don't, I don't know what happened. I must be nervous. I don't get it. Chandler loved it. The titular event, of course, refers to Ross'misadventures at a tanning salon. It teaches us the importance of asking whether we should be counting Mississippily. I'm not finished shoting and opens him up to Chandler's witty savagery. Ross may have been after a glow up, but got a burn down. Instead, I went to that tanning place, your wife suggested, was that place the sun stealing the spotlight? Jennifer Coolage plays Monica and Phoebe's hilariously obnoxious former friend, amanda. This is brilliant. Go. Go. It's just like old times. I'm so happy. You two are friends again, wrapping up our friendsfest. The finale delivers everything fans could ask for. It reminds us that while the series may be over, these friends will always be there for us. Should we get some coffee? Sure, where which friends episode do you think is the one that everyone needs to watch? Pivot to the comments, and let us know? Paper, shut up. Shut up. Shut up.

I might not have seen Friends all the way through from Season 1 to the final season, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t love this show or the cast members. I had the biggest and healthiest crush on Matthew Perry and I was devastated to find out that the beloved actor passed away.

Ok, they mentioned when Rachel and Ross started dating, but nobody mentioned when Rachel suggested that they take a break from dating for a little while, giving birth to the infamous catchphrase We were on a break.

You can't pick just one episode from each season. Every episode is memorable in its own way.
That said, my favorite episode of the whole series is 'The One Where Everyone Finds Out'.

MsMojo seems to be obsessed with making content about this show. Not that I'm complaining, but it was a fine series and Matthew Perry’s legacy is a bit complicated to say the least.

I hated, let me say again hated, the Barbados episodes. I am nowhere close to a Ross/Rachel fan but everything Joey/Rachel just makes me cringe. Give me more Chandler and Monica.
