Tyler's storyline was just brutal. The ending episode was one of the darkest things I've ever watched. I've seen a lot of messed up stuff but that was far. The sad part is that kids when I used to go to school had actually done things like that. Kids were beaten raped and has things happen that should never happen to anyone and one kid even was hit in the head with a D cell battery and my school did nothing about it. This was a harder season to watch but I feel like maybe some school will watch it and learn. This season showed a lot of dark corner's of schools all over and I hope that after this season at least one school will not turn a blind eye and hopefully find a way to help students more.

I'm gonna admit I'd kinda wanted Tyler to do the shooting range at the school because it's really gets to see how far they have gone with especially when he was in the infamous traumatic bathroom scene and I'd really wanted to see on how dark the show can really be but instead they sugar coated with Clay trying to talk him outta it really pissed me off and I'd wanted for Tyler to finally released his darkest side out on the school and not to mention that the court arc was frustrating and and Sonya was really annoying to me when she was victim blaming all the others while they were being testified on Hannah's trial

I had very mixed feelings about this season. I get that the things that they depicted are very real things that happen, and they are trying to bring awareness to them to hopefully change the way these things are handled. I just fear that because of the way a lot of things played out, that kids who are struggling will watch it and it will affirm their beliefs that if they come forward, they wont be listened to or it will make things worse. So i do hope that there is a season 3 and that maybe there will be some positive changes in the school and a harsher punishment for Bryce and the other bullies.

Since season 1 I said: Tyler will shoot up the school. But Im glad it didnt actually happened. I didnt want Tyler to die or be known as the white kid who shoot up the school. I also didnt want the third season to be about gun control or a race issue like it happened in the real world.
I also think if Tyler had shoot up the school, we would have to feel sorry for him because of what happens to him leading up to that. Also everyone who romanticizes serial killers or mass shooter would feel justified to defend the actions of the person.

this season was very necessary in my opinion specially because the show itself addressed some of the issues people have with it in real life, like the romanticization of Hannah's suicide and the criticism of Hannah's character as a whole, also i love that most of the characters that were portrayed as assholes in the first season were humanized and developed and we actually got to understand them better (with the obvious exception of bryce, marcus and monty)

Truth be told, if they let Tyler do the school shooting, it'll make us more empathetic towards school shooters. We should understand that these school shooters have issues that make them do what they do, but ultimately we should be aware that its always the wrong option and can never be justifiable. Tyler is a loved character (by some, and letting him do the shooting would extend that understanding to other school shooters out there, which I feel is utterly wrong.

There was so much positive character development with Clay, Mr. Porter, Justin, Jessica, Zach, Alex. they needed to include Tyler in on things though, they were so
shitty to him and I was screaming the whole time didnt you learn from what happened to hannah! treat everyone nicer! Tyler didnt help his case with the whole Cyrus/Mackenzie thing but still. Im glad Clay was able to talk him down but also it should have happened much sooner

Oh my, I can't believe they're stringing another season out of it. It's so unrealistic. Bryce the serial rapist gets 2 months probation for putting on a pair of glasses? And I can't believe that none of these girls would come out because they are 'scared of him' or something, it's just ridiculous. With all the rumours about Bryce and the baseball team, you'd have thought girls wouldn't follow them in there after a while.

My views on season 2 are mixed. I feel like the trial overshadowed the characters real issues. Half of it was the adults victim blaming the teenagers. I feel like the writers had the material but put too much to give each an individual story. And yes, Tyler's assault was necessary to portray but the way they chose to carry it out during and after was what everyone is mad about. Just my honest opinion.

I did Not like it very much. It was ok. The final Episode tho - aspecially the tyler scene - was Not ok with me at all. To grafic to be true about it. I am a sensitive person still i watched everything but Not alone. But Even mi boyfriend found the way they did the scene was too much. So say my coworkers. Despite that i wish for a season 3 to bring final closure to These troubled kids

My biggest gripe with season 2 is Hannah and Zach's relationship. It made no sense for why wouldn't she mention it on his tape? It was obvious it was thrown in not only for a cute romance but also to cram in Katherine Langford in any way they could when she really had no place in the season.

Loved how Jessica's storyline was handled. She really grew and developed as a character, and I adored how the support of her friends encouraged her to speak out about her experiences. Her meeting with the rape survivors group was very inspirational and moving.

If you recall, in season one, Alex attempts to call Zach and Zach ignores it. I imagine that was right before his suicide attempt, so that is part of the reason why Zach was around so much in season 2 for him. He felt guilty for ignoring the call.

I'm so happy to see a positive review of this season for once. Thank you! I personally really loved it, even more than season 1. I'm already rewatching and strongly hoping for a season 3 because there is so much more story to tell with that finale.
reply

people might dislike me for saying this, but I don't think the school is to blame for Hannah's death yes the counselor failed, but it's not like teachers hurt her or anything, and most things the kids did and what happened was outside of school

I've been watching a lot of videos and reading lots of posts with people complaining about this season so I'm so glad that y'all feel the same way as I do! I absolutely loved this season and, of course, last season. Thank you guys!

1. Was Jeff really drunk when he died?
2. How Zach still have the letter that Hannah accused him to throw it away?
Its just a couple questions that i thought going to be pop up in the s2 but i guess not

I liked the new season, especially all the stories of the characters that weren't told on the tapes but did get told in the court room and I liked courtney's stories the moest with how nice some things were.

I literally spend 13 hours straight watching the series. I swear to god im not exaggerating. 13 HOURS in my bed! And I was on my period, so that made watching it all that much more intense!
reply

I thought the season was good but I nearly cried watching Tyler's scene at the end it was honestly the most horrifying thing I've ever watched - and I have watched some dark movies.
reply

One thing I loved about season two was Zachs character development. I really love Zach and Hannahs relationship. Zach is a really good guy and they wouldve made an adorable couple.
reply

Man I love this show! It really reminds me of Degrassi the Next Generation. I did really feel bad for Tyler this season. I hope they get him the help he needs.
reply

Most of the times I couldn't stop thinking they were actors reading their script. I enjoyed watching the first season but this one felt forced and boring.
reply

I really want to know one thing? Why Bryce punished for 3 months, Justin for 6 months. And one thing, why Justin is in jail?
+i was so bad for Tyler

reply

Season 3 (if it happens) should also talk about Chloe's pregnancy. Will Bryce's family accept her? Will they illegally abort her?
reply

I've watched the previous video about the heartbreaking moments from 13 reasons why season 1 and I was shocked by the rankings.
reply

Yeah no season 2 was unnecessary. I didn't completely hate season 2, but season 1 was far superior in plot, acting and twists
reply

This teen show is about suicide! I'd rather watch the human centipede, this is a horrible and pointless show. My opinion.
reply

I totally ship ZACH AND HANNAH! But I think they didnt do Tyler justice like I know he wasnt the nicest person but. still
reply

Hated season2 it just contradicted lots of things. The ending with Tyler really left me with ptsd and it was so horrible
