Although this focused more on live-action film characters based on books, I have a nomination that I thought would be worthy of this list: Princess Eilonwy from Disneys The Black Cauldron. Ive read the original Prydain Chronicles by Lloyd Alexander, and while Disney drew her as chestnut-blond hair, she is actually a red-head in the book (red-gold to be precise. I dont recall off-hand if their eye color is the same, I think Disney Eilonwy is blue eyed while Alexanders Eilonwy is blue-green eyed, but personality wise their the same. Gurgi and Taran are pretty much the same personality-wise, except Gurgi is somewhat less cuter than his Disney counterpart, they didnt delve too much into Tarans features other than him being lanky. But the characters King Eiddeleg and Doli in the Disney version are NOTHING like their book counterparts. King Eiddeleg is rude whereas his Disney is more polite. Dolis personality is the same always complaining demeanor, though he is more helpful to the heroes and physical appearance is totally different from the film. Same goes with the three witches Orgoch, Orddu, and Orwen, but Ive made this post long enough already. XD

I forgive Harry not having green eyes because I know that Dan tried really hard to use the contacts and they really hurt his eyes so Id rather he portray the character perfectly rather than the actor be in pain. Hermione shouldve been ten because while Emma Watson does portray her perfectly and I love her and honestly cant imagine anyone else playing Hermione the hair department couldve tried a little harder with CoS and PoA because I feel like those were supposed to be part of like her ugly duckling years and it took away the effect and impact of her coming down the stairs in GoF. Also they couldve given her some fake front teeth for 1-3 and the first half of four (book readers know whats up)
ALSO: At least blue and green are close to each other on the color spectrum unlike brown eyes

There could be basically anybody from Harry Potter franchise except for Harry himself lol He is among few actors who look like in the books with just a small difference (they should have cast a girl with blue eyes for Lily and that's it. If you wanted someone from HP, there should have been Fleur, Ginny, Narcisa, Hermione, or Slughorn instead of Potter.

I see where youre coming from on the helper, but I really think Emma Stone was perfect for that role, even though shes not super tall, she embodied the main aspects of the book charecter very well
But I will say I dont think any fans of the Percy Jackson series came to terms about any part of the movies

I didn't mind that Woodley played Tris. What I minded was it was obvious how loaded up with makeup she was. It's like they put dollar store false lashes on her, when Tris was meant to be PLAIN and very NATURAL. I know everyone in movies has makeup on, but good artists can make it look natural and not. obvious?
