I've had the privilege to see Celine perform live twice in my life, both times in Las Vegas. She was wonderfully dorky while talking to the audience on stage between songs, and you could just tell that she was being authentic. Her live voice was flawless; if it wasn't for the tiny inflections and changes she made to each song, you would have thought it was the album recording.
The second time I saw her there was a bride and groom sitting in the front row, still in their gown and tux from their ceremony. When Celine noticed them after the start of the show, she went OFF with how excited she was since it wasn't a planned thing by the show runners.
She had the audience cam on them and talked to them for a minute, finding out they were huge fans and had just come straight from their ceremony to see her perform. She sang a song dedicated to their marriage after that, followed by having a stage hand fetch a rose that she said was from an arrangement in her dressing room which she came down from the stage to give to the bride, along with giving them both a hug. They were in TEARS.
It was such a lovely addition to the show, and a testament to what a wonderful person Celine is to her fans.

My grandmother had 18 children but only 14 made it to adulthood. She lived to age 87! None of them became famous but some had great Irish humour and I loved the times we were together.
It’s wonderful that Celine has so much family support, especially from her sons. It’s also humbling to see that many of us have little to complain about. Yes, she has all the money in the world to see the best specialists and to have as many staff on hand to help her through this difficult time, but being human means having empathy for the suffering of others no matter how rich or poor they may be. Her music brought much happiness to my late wife and I.

Her Mum was indeed a hard working superhero. Her husband and family did everything for her. She is finally getting her share of challenges. While she’s brave for showing her vulnerability, many famous singers had to work very hard to get where they are but she had it too easy and started too soon. Maybe she should give back by helping unknown singers with genetic disorders or permanent disabilities to make it big. Especially the ones with bad parents and no support. I hope she learns to manage her condition.

i watch the documentary now and i just want to say, i love you so much celine and will always love you, you are a legend and will forever be and all that you went through is so tough and just know we still love you and appreciate you ever since i was a little girl, grow up listening to your music and you will always remain a great inspiration and role model, dont ever feel like because of your condition that you are less than, cause you are my forever supermodel and my greatest star of all.

I don’t feel it’s fair to belittle Celine for marrying Rene. so much older. Love is love to me. I doubt she’ll re- marry, plus she’s got lovely boys that love her & take care of her. Wonder if the seizure was related to cause by tapering the meds she was on No never be embarrassed. It’s never your fault.
Honest I think, Celine needs to stop singing for herself she’s beautiful but I worry about what her future.

hahahaha ! FAME caught up with her, She forgot to balance out her life.
WELL. SHE EARNED IT. she looks like an 80 yr old.
Now I know I was smart in my life worked as less as possible and refused over times. focused more on exercise and free time and naps.
I am 64 but look like 40 and healthy like an apple.

This was such a powerful documentary, although it was not easy to watch. I felt Celine's suffering so strongly, and she was so honest in what she revealed. Watching this documentary proves that Celine is a true entertainer and not just some ego obsessed Diva. She truly cares about her fans.

Celine Dion has to be the most real and raw performer that I have ever seen. Her heart is so very big. She is such a very special person. There are no superstars that come to mind that are anything like her. Please rest darling lady. You have worked so very hard. Everyone loves you. Xxxxxx

I wanted to reach out and comfort her so much. It may been due to privacy requests, but I had wished to see her adult loved ones comforting her. She had wonderful hired help, but I wanted to know that she also had family to support her. I hope that, off-camera, she feels supported and not alone.

She thought she was more than she was and she was brought low to show her that she is human, she will get old and she will go the way of all humans and maybe her affiliations put a fear in her thats showing in her body. You saw her kids clothing line and what she affiliated herself with.

This is why Taylor Swift should have been so much more respectful when Celine made that appearance at the Grammys to give Taylor her award. Taylor just dismissed Celine. It was really very poor of her and tells just how immature and arrogant she actually is.

Watching Celine go through such a crisis is like watching a dearly loved family member suffer. It broke my heart deeply, yet it made me love Celine even more. She is just an amazing human being, so authentic and inspiring. I love her!

I wish for Celine to recover & heal. I truly believe that she is suffering from extreme anxiety and depression. The loss of her husband has devastated her to the core. Heartbreaking. I wish her the best.

Omg witnessing that seizure was horrible they shouldn't have continued filming even with her consent to carry on they should have stopped so she could go to the hospital to get checked out

In the past she went nonstop with her residence and tour its like and on and on and on even when her husband and brother passed on. She should just take a break and dont think about money for awhile

I watched the clip of Celine having that episode and it was incredibly difficult to get through. It felt like such an invasion of privacy - even though I know Celine wanted us to see it.
