Ted is way worse imo. His narration is very manipulative. Kids the funny thing about destiny then proceeds to ruin so many women's lives, Barney looked like a good guy when Ted appears. Ted wanted Robin to change her views. He also made Robin to take away her dogs to a farm.
Ross is more of egotistical guy than manipulative guy. Who think he is always right but he doesn't force on people. He even told Joey to tell his feelings for Rachel, yes he freaked out but later he told him to tell his feelings. Ted didn't talk to Barney for months cuz he slept with Robin, Robin wasn't with Ted at that time.

They are both kind of twats but Rose does have a lot of Redeeming quality's he actually cares for his Friends and his Son and he does love Rachel.
Ted is an outright ass and is The Main Villian of HIMYM as far im concerned he goes on through the whole show about his conquest - his obsession with Robbin - his putting down of Barney regardless of the fact he is with him on many of those experiences and at the end he goes on about their Mother a few times talks about her Death for a bit then goes and tries to get Robbin again.
That's what i remember anyway.

3: 15 hey he has right to rescue someone else's cat bc some crazy woman believe her mom is in it. This episode is phoebes worse moment that even Martha Kauffman hates it. Yes i understand phoebes feeling but the fact that she literally kept a little girl unhappy and worrying for a day just so phoebe can have her happiness back is unacceptable. Were it not for Ross's prodding, phoebe wouldve kept the cat a lot longer or worse forever. If i believe my grandma is in my aunts dog, i would first ask permission to hang with it for a day

Ok ladies, Ross handling of the cat thing was mostly cause his friends refused to be adults and admit the cat had an owner. Ross obviously didn’t agree with pheobe psycho behavior but didn’t press the matter till they found out it had an owner.
From that moment on Ross was completely in the right. and yet backed down anyway!

Ted Mosby wins merely because he uses his wife's death to emotionally manipulate his children into being okay with pursuing Robin again. Tracy is basically a footnote in his story, a woman he used to have kids while still clearly pining for Robin. Ross may have descended into madness (hilariously, imo, but Ted is the absolute worst.

Ross may have been whiny and pushy at times, but he really came out for his friends, namely by giving Phoebe the bike she never had, staying to help Rachel instead of appearing on TV, and kissing Joey for an audition. David Schwimmer's charm really helped to keep Ross from being TOO irritating, and he was great at physical comedy.

Both got their issues but Ross is def the better character.
Simply cause of Ted’s complete psychotic obsessions with Robin. Meanwhile Rachel was that kind of obsession with Ross. When your still pining for a girl on the eve of her wedding to your best friend, your not a good friend to either one

David Schwimmer and Josh Radnor are the worst in their shows! Ross and Ted were my LEAST favorites.
Battle of the nice guys should be Chandler vs Marshall. Matthew Perry and Jason Segal played their parts well and loved.

Ross made his mistakes indeed, but i prefer him over Ted, at least him tried to move on from Rachel ( which by the way she deserves a top 10 when she was the worst, he also was more friendly to his friends more than Ted

Regardless of who won, I like Ted Mosby more. Ted might be a douche, but he makes me laugh and he's relatable. Honestly, I'm in the mood to re-watch How i Met Your Mother soon

Ross is better, no doubt about that.
Ted on the other hand, he’s not so bad but he can be a bit of pervert sometime’s and he is not always a good friend.

Don't know about Ted Moseby, but Ross Geller was not a true nice guy. He was one of those guys that give actual nice guys a bad name.
