My dad already told me if I want a wedding I have to pay. The money he would spend is going towards a payment of new house or a new car. He said he rather invest in something that would help me and my spouse with life after the wedding rather than the wedding that only lasts for a day. Which makes a lot more sense and I am not upset that my dad isn't paying for my wedding. In fact I love him more because he really is thinking about my future in more hindsight.

What about ruling over your family's decision to choose guests? Well, brides and grooms want their day to be just shiny and perfect. What if you see a bride control her family's choice on not only letting some people know but also inviting them? Is that a sign of a bridezilla? The Emily Post Institute on etiquette says people aren't due a plus one unless they are married or engaged. Sometimes you can't afford for extra people to show up, because each guest is so much money. And if the bride and groom don't like kids, then it's fine for them not to want kids at their wedding. These aren't unreasonable.

Bridezillas are narcissists or budding narcissists and they don't realize that they hurt people. Grooms, even sentimentally hurt by their actions stick on to the wedding because they feel they are obliged to do so. The last few weeks into the wedding, true color of your bride comes out. If she is a narcissist, run!

I maybe detail-oriented and bargain shopper (when it comes to staying within budget, but no way will I become a Bridezilla. seriously it's suppose to be a special day to celebrate a new chapter in your life with the person you love.
I haven't met anyone like that, but if I did I'd bail immediately.

I detest the thought of ever becoming a bridezilla. I never want to act in such a disgusting way as all these females have done, they are honestly downright disgraceful. They don't deserve anything that has to do with getting married.

I didnt turn into a bridezilla but I was shot down by nerves and had a breakdown before the day itself. But now that I look back, it's a fond memory to look back on since the wedding turned out great at the end: )

Bridezillas are annoying because it's always their way or the highway and why do they always say It's MY big day! when a wedding is for 2 people! They should say OUR big day, it's not like it's their 21st birthday party

No I do not agree with the rules part of this list. I think having plus ones and children is a matter of budgetary concern. Also if u want ure reception to get raunchy, why should kids be there?
