PLEASE! We seem to be cracking under the pressure of these reality trends. There are AMAZING people in America and the world I would love to see perform or learn from. Although it's just good fun, mostly, can we please find a HERO in there somewhere or at least just real talent that is encouraging. I just hate these brainless shows, made cheap and being forced as all there is to watch. Thank good for movies and re-runs. These shows are almost mean spirited and I get too uncomfortable to watch. By the way. Who decides whom is a star?

Of course HCHBB is No. 1. Mama June is so disgusting, and I'm not talking about her physical presence, I'm talking about how she used her children and family to make money and (eventually) get the body makeover she wanted. All that talk about being happy and proud of being a large woman and what does she do but use all the money she makes to carve out a tiny body for herself. Maybe she could have spent some time/energy on her soul.

I actually think My 600lb Life is a good show. I don't watch it but I watched a couple of episodes. It essentially teaches viewers about the dangers of not taking care of yourself. All episodes I watched were eye openers. Also - you missed a part about Monster June. She didn't just date a child molester, she dated the child molester that she knows/knew it violated one of her daughters. Disgusting.

I still love My Strange Addiction. My fav. Was the guy in love with his car, named Chase. The car was named Chase, not the guythe man has objectphilia, a real condition. Then I saw the documentary about the woman who married the Eiffel Tower and that put little Chases story to shame Unusual and rare psychological conditions have always fascinated me.

My Strange Addiction is mostly people with mental health conditions (i. e. Pica, Anxiety, OCD, etc); so basically TLC is exploiting people and their conditions without getting them help or at the very least they could give them a list of resources (at least I would hope so.

I love my 600 lbs life. It shows the struggle of losing a huge amount of weight and how it gets people to be that big. I feel so happy for those that try hard and see the results: )
