I've been looking up top 10 dads on television for a while now, but nowhere can I find any list that includes Dan Lauria as Jack Arnold from The Wonder Years. Hands down the most realistic dad portrayed on television. Stern, scary, responsible, loving, responsible, caring. He had great qualities that remind so many of their own fathers. Fathers who taught you responsibility, respect, and how to think for yourself. Fathers that are, unfortunately, so uncommon these days. My favorite all-time dad on television is Jack Arnold.

What about Johnny Rose? He tries to be a father to his kids at the beginning of Schitt's Creek and ends up being the best dad he can be given the Rose family's circumstances. In fact, in the beginning, Johnny is the only one who holds the Rose family together. He becomes a wonderful father figure to Patrick when they have the talk before his and David's wedding.

I honestly wish Burt Hummel was my dad seriously I love him so much and Im so happy that he is my favourite character- Kurts dad he was just an awesome step dad to Finn and an awesome husband to his mom Carol Hudson. He is also an awesome father- in- law to Blaine Anderson

Burt and Kurt should be number 1 because their relationship is unlike anyother TV dad and son relationships even if their son is gay or straight I've never seen a relationship between a farther and son like that on TV

I am very disappointed to not see Coach Eric Taylor from FNL on here. I watched the whole series and could see so much of my dad in him, and felt his love for his family and his team.
