Lol let me show you this game i created that I can't even beat a level on - jump 4 times. after worm shoot. Are you sure you guys love video games? It doesn't seem like you play them. But other then that artwork looks great. I really enjoyed the show cuphead and reminded me of kids shows I used to watch and some nostalgia with great humor. But unfortunately after playing so many games of this style in the past I just don't see me buying it until they come out with something more modern/open world to curb monotony.

2016 eh? How about 2017? As a game designer myself (working on Critical Domain, founded Apples & Astronauts, I refuse to release a full version until it is 'perfect'. So, I understand why cuphead, being a labor of love, is being pushed back. Let's just hope that it doesn't get the No Man's Sky treatment and go from a $15-$20 indie game to a $60 'AAA' title that is garbage for that kind of money

It looks like the whole game is bosses.
I guess I don't mind. People make the games they want to.
Neat, though. I bet you could have a shader that took the lines and morphed them so they looked like this. I think I've seen that before, but a shader for something closer to this would be a little more artistically accurate than what I've seen.

I don't know if its just me but i can imagine another version of this game where the main characters are in a post apocalypse and with a battle scarred face, grin as they make their way to the next boss while iron maiden plays in the back. Just a random thought.

The last platformer I really loved was Rayman Origins. The art style was fantastic, the score was awesome, and each level felt fun to play in. I feel like Cuphead will be the next big step in platforming.

I'm no gamer, at all. But this is the only game I've seen since the early 1990's that I've actually wanted to try. It seems like such a passion project by it's creators. Very impressive.

I feel the boss's death animation shouldn't just be a loop that fades to black they should fall, cuphead should celebrate and maybe some victory text should show up.

Why they don't make craft projects
Or bonuses
And exploring things hidden in map like things to craft
And make a lot of bosses and islands

Why are all video game journalists just god awful at games these days? Is actually gaming experience just not required anymore?
