The actual premise of this series is giving me some definite Hotline Miami vibes.
A simple, good man begins hearing a voice encouraging him to do bad things, and the more bad things he does, the looser his grip on reality becomes.
I really hope this series spawns just as much surreal art as Car Boys and Monster Factory has.

Hold on. Before I start this, does this series eventually become a surprise spiritual experience with a deep lore that that started as a silly thing, just like EVERY video series Polygon makes? Because I need to be warned about that before I go on if it does.

Either requires revision of the ideas in relationship to one another or simplification / dedication to a single idea. Would have loved to see an ultra-mundane, deliberately boring playthrough of GTA V as a life sim.

I'm only a few minutes in but this seems like it would work much better without the camera shots being included, just inner monologue and first person view. Also: that audio pickup from Russ's headphones is wacky.

Justin's voice when he said -Free advertising- went from I to Taako very quickly and I wonder if it was at least partly subconscious because of hearing the word -taco. -

This is honestly one of the most underrated series on Polygon, always find myself coming back to it and I love Russ and Justin-s dynamic so much!

Tbh this isn't very good. Quite boring and by very charismatic. Griffin is fun, Russ doesn't quite hit the spot.
