I fking love the combat and the game looks Overwatch but what i hate was a ability to switch a character while on combat. It makes the game so dull and unrealistically to play. I don't care if it shows new mechanics but i'm pretty sure the game looks bad if they do that because it's so easy and just fun to play on beginning.
Oh well i saw some gameplay that you can play with only 1 character. so i guess i'll let it slide but it doesn't have multiplayer when it comes out and the game producers said -the game will have to wait, but for now it's a singleplayer game- Oh boy.

So I personally lost touch with the Saint's Row games after 3, the first two were good and fun because they weren't over the top and 3 is where the train got derailed where you end up being president, but it was still a fun game. I tried out 4 and it's not a bad game, but imo it's a bad sr game because I preferred the actual gang part (though I understand that they had to evolve it) Gat out of Hell was a good game in the story but I again was no fan of it. This seems like a pretty interesting game, something fun to play with friends (co-op)

how is this like overwatch in any way? dont clickbait, polygon, i have too much respect for you. This game looks like garbage, the saints row series past 2 is garbage, and if the demo cant even be funny enough for you to be impressed, then the actual game is going to bomb.

for a game trying to be zany and over the top, the actual combat mechanics just look messy and unfocused, filled with bullet sponge enemies, and the classes seems by the numbers and boring
also that HUD is cluttered and hideous

Everyone judges a game by its actual gameplay, which yes is not similar to Overwatch, but the whole different heroes with different abilities and weapons thing sounds pretty similar to a certain team based shooter I've heard of.

If anything this game is like Borderlands. But sure let's compare this story driven singleplayer game to a multiplayer only game, that makes a lot of sense. Whoever came up with this retarded title should be fired on the spot.

So this is supposed to compete with shadow of war? Hahahaha. They should've just made a new saints row game and went back to the saint row 1 and 2 roots. This game is gonna be the next battle born.

Hope there's some new outfits or weapons etc. for the different characters. The game we've seen so far seems empty. I'm not sure what motivation there is to play this honestly.

I'd love to have that character be based on an original saints row character. All gansta-ry, no Futuristic aspect what so ever. Uses a sub machine gun, a baseball bat, and a molotov
