Hey Brian/Polygon, this is probably going to be the weirdest comment of appreciation you will likely ever receive, but hey, we all need to have a claim to fame: thank you for making your presentation louder than the solitaire mobile game ad in my puzzle app with Jenny McCarthy.
1. I don't know what it is, but something in her face is super uncanny and I don't want to pay her attention.
2. She's an antivax conspiracist POS and I don't want to support anything associated with her, and with lesser videos I've had to mute everything.

-They'll show a trailer that's just a landscape shot, maybe some voice over, and then just a title screen; bonus points if it -literally- is just a title screen, and then that game is probably gonna be stuck in development hell for 7 years and maybe not get released ever. - The fact that the highlighter of this point was Metroid Prime 4 just shows the amazing foresight they had nearly 3 years ago.

Vague rambling about innovation: -
10: 52 - Innovation
12: 29 - Groundbreaking
11: 04 - Game changing
11: 51 - Immersive-
10: 19 - Never been done before-
12: 14 - Like you're living in the world of the game-
11: 10 - More -adjective- than ever before-
11: 29 - It's not science fiction. it's science fact-
11: 42 - Next Gen
12: 31 - Seems impossible. but we did it

8: 30 and it was here that my eyes glazed over as i realized this madlad just exposed like half of his entire schtick.
half of his videos are ONLY gaffes.
not that i didn't know before today or dislike it.
just sayin; takes some real guts to expose your entire style like this

13: 57 -We've been working on something very special, with some very special people: From the visionary minds of David Cage, and Peter Molyneux. -
Even back when this released that was supposed to be a jab at suckass people in the industry, but dear god did that not age well, lol

I've had to attend technical conferences for work, and it's sad how much overlap there is. Emotional draws, gaffes, issues getting to the next slide, awkward transitions and silences. They're real, and they're not spectacular

now that E3 has been consigned to the shadow realm (as destiny decreed) it is time for us to band together to create its true successor; E4, or the Evolved Electronic Entertainment Expo for long

man i can't believe the number of little details i didn't notice before even after watching this video like a dozen times like the -i love eating ass- shirt and the -next, jen- thing being a pun.
reply

I love how more and more tape is added to the sides of the whiteboard as the video goes on, why didnt we get to see the gaff of the white board falling down?
reply

I am learning to make the video games and I have a pitch presentation for my game tomorrow in class, I am so unbelievably tempted to use this format for it
reply

It upsets me that I, so many years after watching these unravels over and over, just realized the joke with the shirt when the blazer is on.

Still waiting on that Hades VR Fishing game. They already have the fish designs, and the level designs, this is practically printing money!
reply

1200 enemies on screen, over 49 meganpixels of screen dissolution, 62 giganbotes of Ram, and 720, 000.
Had me bust a gut when it ended like that

It is now 2023. The two games he used as examples for -the big finish- are still not out. One of them still doesn't have a public title.
reply

11: 06 I-ve watched this video at least 10 times, and I-ve never noticed that the shirt gets cut off like this. I am currently losing my mind
reply

Its been years since i first watched this and i just realized how the blazer makes the shirt say -i love eating ass-
reply

Underrated moment of this video is how the subtitles went from:
-Frightened laughter-
-Pained Laughter-
-pain-

Now that E3 is dead, let-s test the universality of this theory by applying it to the Summer Games Fest and Xbox Showcase.
reply

I _need_ that -I love eating junk food and playing classic games- shirt. I need it so bad. I have just the blazer for it
reply

The blazer covering up -classic- so it's just -Ass- was incredible and that's going to be another gaffe shot.
reply

Watching this in 2022 and Elder Scrolls 6 and Metroid Prime 4 still in development makes this so much funnier
reply

Just the fact that with the blazer on the shirt says -i like to eat a-s, do you? - Makes this episode great.
reply

Man- this reminded me that the ES6 teaser got dropped about 5 years ago at this point- one day, one day.
reply

the idea of Brian saying -quiet down please- to an empty, echo-y dark room during filming brings me joy
reply

I came back to this video after the newest information about elder scrolls development in the year 2023
