Nintendo will become a game developer and nothing more. Watch.
They pioneered the gaming market in the 80s and 90s but have fallen miserably short beginning in the latter half of the 2000s and have been spiraling downward since.
They won't catch up to the competition. Ever.
The funny part is that if they just had systems that were decently powerful and up-to-date online and VR capabilities then they could've stayed ahead because of their amazing exclusive IP (Mario, Zelda, Smash Bros) but they decided that their hardware just isn't that important.
Ya done messed up Nintendo. Ya done messed up.

I want grizzled dad mario, and the game is him finally realizing the lives his feud with bowser cost the mushroom kingdom and cape koopa. In the game mario has to go find his son, mario jr, who is living with peach in her summer castle on isle delfino (it-s never explicitly stated if peach is the mom but like just a little sprinkle of implication for the fandom. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Mario Jr ends up getting in a fight with the now adult bowser jr, thus restarting the horrific cycle of violence Mario had hoped to teach his son to stop.

A horror game where you try to escape Kirby would actually be amazing. A cute art style contrasting with the planet destroying horror that is attempting to pull you into a pocket dimension inside itself where you will stay for all eternity.
The pocket dimension exists, by the way. It's basically the inventory in one of the games. I can't remember which.

Nintendo not being innovating has to be sarcastic.
Since they are the only true console maker that is being innovative and taking risks with every console launch.
The company that invented the D-pad and is ahead on creating a mobile gaming platform that works, just check out the xcloud attachments for phones.

I want VR Pokemon games, like the full games.
Like throwing Pokeballs at Pokemon would be epic! So would Pokemon battles! And I would hope they individualized the battle animations this time. I would totally buy a Pokemon game like that! Especially if it's open world like Sword and Shield started to do.

Personally, I disagree with everything this video says. A couple times Nintendo has done what other companies fails at, but that doesn-t define their strategy. They have been doing the same things since the 80s and I expect that is how it will stay.

Nintendo are not behind. They invented the analogue stick. They started the mobile gaming with game and watch. They started granted failed at the VR market with the virtual boy. And brought motion controls to the market.

I think Metroid is the obvious choice for a Nintendo Souls. Souls game are fundamentally a subgenre of Metroidvania and Metroid already has a bit more of a hardcore fanbase compared to most Nintendo franchises.

I love that Jenna basically predicted Mario 35, but decided not to so she could still pretend she is a human being and not an all-knowing multidimensional entity.
Well played, Jenna, well played.

Nintendo is a decade behind. And that-s good. Sure there online could be better, but do you see their games flooded with micro transactions? Or battle passes? No, you don-t, and that-s good.

I like Nintendo's games but they are always behind on their tech. Yeah they're innovative with their consoles but why are they always putting out remakes of of mario and legend of zelda over and over?

-For that bodacious experience you won't be playing as Kirby but instead. - BILL AND TED? Nintendo will MoCap Keanu Reeves just like Cyber Punk 2077, but instead insert Bill and Ted: Men out of Time.

I dont want to be a downer or anything but somehow -every single joke- in this video fell flat for me. I normally enjoy a lot of videos along these lines, but I just. didnt like this one.

Did she foresee the new Fatal Frame and Shadow Abyss(competitive speed running game?
Nintendo is a decade behind, but is Polygon's shitposting a year ahead in the game industry?

I have been skeptical with how this day is going to go but I'm glad how comedic a video which I thought was going to be a typical cookie-cutter industry critique turned out to be

No games company innovates as much as Nintendo. so lot of this stuff is just nonsense- or more like, if you only look at certain aspects, yeah there's some truth here.

That idea of trying to avoid being sucked into Kirby's mouth isn't a cutesy thing, that sounds like a straight up horror experience (or a kinky one if you're into vore)

Nintendo only lacks a realistic game like Uncharted or Tomb Raider. and a racing game like Forza Horizon and Gran Turismo and a first person online Shooter like Halo.

I actually really like the Yoshi's Island but with Mario as a Dad Carrying Mario Jr. idea. I think it's the best idea for a game in the video.

If Nintendo makes Metroid Prime 4, a game they have already spent 3 years on and it-s not even close to be finished, I-m actually gonna kill myself

I disagre with you, chasing trends it is the worst thing you can do as a company, and that-s why they are selling better than anyone else

Nintendo may become third party at some point. They say they are not competing but Sales matters. No sale no company to run after all.

For god sake you can be dumb. Nintendo is using the new type of cartridges, and even other companies would do the same.
