Don't forget, as I did, that as far as the base game is concerned, only Yoana (female armorer at Crow's Perch) is capable of crafting advanced armor sets, and only after you do the -Master Armorers- questline. When you go to Fergus he'll craft the Superior level gloves, boots and trousers, but for some reason the Superior Wolven armor (chest component) is coded as mastercrafted armor, therefore only Yoana will craft it. Your game isn't bugged, it's just coded inappropriately.

technically journeyman craftsmen(both armourer and blacksmith) can craft upto superior quality of witcher gear. for the mastercrafted you need the mastercrafter namely hatori(blacksmith) and yoana(armourer) but somehow this particual chest piece(superior wolven) was not showing under craftable at any journeyman armourer, so if u to have this problem go to yoana. u can try crafting any basic, enhanced or superior gear from any journeyman level craftsmen all works fine.

The elemental in the room with the gauntlets was level 83, and I'm only level 76 (NG+. I completely cheesed that fight. Spammed quen the whole time in order to not get one-shot, and every time I ran out of stamina, I went back to where he couldn't get me, waited until I was out of combat, saved, and went back in, rolling around the room and poking him with my toothpick of a sword.

Edit. Okay I just read Luis Cabrera's tip and it worked. Didn't even noticed there was another cave lol
Edit: There is a rock at the end of this tunnel 2: 46 that looks breakable but I can't seem to find a way around it. Anyone?

Apparently if you kill Madman Lugos in the story, Kaer Muire is completely deserted, including the blacksmith who would allow access to set 3, the superior upgrades. Do you have any idea if CDPR is already aware of this and planning to fix it or are we just completely boned if that's how our story played out?

So many bugs in this quest. First the map didn't show up in my inventory after purchasing it so I had to reload. Now I've read the map and the quest indicates it's in Kaer Morhen but none of the quest markers show on the map. Dunno what keeps making me play this game but a lot of it's design flaws are devastating to all of it's core aspects in some way.

For some reason my the silver sword was in the other cave thingy next to the one shown in this video, maybe it's because of the update, I don't know but if anyone else can't find the silver sword, look around a bit and don't freak out, hope this helped someone if they had this same problem: D

Idk if its just my game but when I went to the cave to get the superior wolven gauntlets, I got a quest for that cave where I had to investigate the cave and at the very end behind the fake wall there was the mastercrafted wolven armor (the actual armor not the diagram)

If your like me, playing the witcher 3 on version 1. 60/latest verision, and can't find the silver sword don't worry its not bugged just moved to another location, its inside the first circle the one on the far left/upper right from this location 0: 43

I crafted every part of the Superior gear with the armorer in Hierarch Square (not the swords) but the armor doesn't even appear on the list, I tried with the dwarf blacksmith in Velen too, but with the same result. Any help? What am I doing wrong?

Just notice something. They skipped part 3. I have the basic, enhanced and working at the superior(part4. The last one will be the master and that's part 5. Little glitch I guess. Hopefully I'm right about this. If I am share so other can know!

Okay so. none of these upgrades were in the locations shown for me. I don't know if I'm missing something or I did something wrong. I have already beaten the main story and hearts of stone. I'm just tying up loose ends and I cant tie this

I've got the map for the stuff in Kaer Morhen but it's not telling me where to go for some reason. Maybe once I travel there it will work? I'm about to do the isle of mists quest so maybe that's screwing with it.
