its cheaper then the 3d version of course its going to be the go to-3ds playing non-3d handheld system of greatness there is only 2 things i dislike about both new 2ds and 3ds is the fact that the game is loaded from the bottom and that the stylus is located at the bottom as well so it falls out real easy the original 3ds had it located at the top so you wont lose it and every ds before or after that one had failed in keeping your stylus from falling out (ds fell out of the side, dsi fell out of the side, 3ds kept in top 3ds xl fell out of the side new 3ds fell out of the bottom even easier nintendo's job is to make you lose your stylus all over again)

Excellent video, Polygon-! I really wish Nintendo went with the design of the NEW 2DS XL when designing the NEW 3DS line of 3DS systems. This design really does seem more. modern than the design of the NEW 3DS systems, but then that could just be me.
Either way, I do enjoy using the 3D on my NEW 3DS XL from time-to-time, but I am considering getting a NEW 2DS, only because I enjoy the modern design of the NEW 2DS XL.

It's a shame people don't appreciate the 3D on the New 3DS consoles much, it's great stuff. Unfortunately the games I'm playing at the moment don't even make use of the 3D. But when it's available I try to use it because it increases the resolution and with the IR eye tracking it is extremely stable coming from the older 3DS.

One of my biggest questions about this new hardware iteration is the speakers. It looks like they've been moved to the corners of the console's bottom edge, where the hands would naturally rest. Is this actually the case? Did Allegra notice any issues with her palms covering the speakers during play?

You can buy 2 of these for the price of the switch and play the entire library of ds and 3ds games, have tons of virtual console games, & carry it with you without having to worry about scratching the screen. Nintendo has a winner here. Will be their number one selling product this Christmas.

I am going to buy it.
I just will be angry, if I will get TN screen, instead of IPS screen.
Nintendo should either mark kind of screen on the box, or ask different prices for them, since TN is cheaper.
Really hope the hinge this time will not brake.

Interesting. I've been thinking about upgrading to the New 3DS but I'm not big on the 3D so this might be the good happy medium for me, like you say. I'll have to look more into it!
