There are a total of 9 XOF Unit Patch Locations in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Finding all XOF Unit Patches will earn you the Insignia Trophy / Achievement. They will also unlock the D-j--Vu Extra Op. All of the XOF Patches are scattered across the Ground Zeroes mission. That's the only main mission in the game and it's available from the beginning on. After picking up a collectible you need to reach the next checkpoint to save the progress. If you die before saving the game, you will have to collect it again. The last XOF Unit Patch requires you to roll around on the ground. Hold X (PS3) / A (X360, then aim your weapon and hold down the left stick to start rolling. This will initiate a cutscene and the last patch will fall from the sky. Be sure you are somewhere outside when doing this. The other 8 unit patches can be picked up like normal collectibles, but they are hard to see. Pause the video and put a marker on your map to locate them easily. The trophy / achievement will unlock after beating the story (which consists of only this one story mission. Shortly after the credits are over, you will see a screen with your rewards. That's when it should unlock

Those of you who are having issues with having gotten all 9, yet not getting the trophy/achievement: Go back to the spots and check again. If you restart the mission or go back to your checkpoint, all data, including items you collected, will be lost since your last checkpoint. This happened to me.

for those wondering why they don't get the achievement after collecting all xof patches: of course you still have to finish the mission. at least that's how it worked for me on pc/steam. I also unlocked both the deja vu + jamais vu extra ops after completing the mission. regards

Thanks a bunch for this walk through. I would have never have guessed that the last patch was on Snake. That tricky Hideo, he never ceases to play with your mind. Great walk through it helped greatly keep up the good work.

Waaaaay too much turdiness in MGS-GZ, they basically added a load of nonsense to stretch the game out. Glad the got rid of it all for the main game.
