A good tip for anyone that is doing it on ps5 you can manage your saves from the console and Cloud and are able to go back probably a day or a few hours if you missed something like -the green tentacles- on the damn train.
Updating after I got the Trophy, you definitely can get it in 2 runs of the game it carries over from the first run. I got it when fighting Mrs. Zurkon so if you see this on your first play through get as many as you can now and then just follow the video for the challenge mode easy peasy. happy hunting 08-07-23

May 2022 just got it, I just played my first playthrough of the game and hardly used this weapon. After completing it and doing some clean up trophies I started challenge mode and decided anything that moved was going to get grooved before killing it. It ended up popping for me on the level with the water fall near the end of the game when I threw it to a group of enemy's up near the bar. Wasn't excepting it to pop then, but it did.

Started playing this game one month ago, and this is the last trophy needed for the Platinum trophy. I-m almost done with my third challenge mode and I-m going to have to just follow this step-by-step on the fourth, because this is the most annoying trophy I-ve needed to complete in a while- -

I-m a big Ratchet and Clank Fan but imma be for real. I hate this game. Its fun, its cool, but for some reason this game is just. A headache. Espacially this one trophy. I-m so happy to finish this soon and go back to Ratchet and Clank 2 and 3 or Gladiator

Man I should have been paying more attention on my last playthrough, I know I missed a few along the way and I don't really feel like beating it again anytime soon to get this. I still feel pretty content but not getting the platinum is annoying lol

I'm 100% sure you need to do this in the same challenge mode playthrough. I just did this by following the guide. Getting the big fish to dance and the tentacles on the train were most likely why I didn't get this sooner.

I missed the flamethrower robot at 0: 21 when starting my first Challenge playthrough when Qwark is having Ratchet try out his weapons. Does this enemy appear anywhere else in the game besides the first few minutes?

I believe that the reward is linked to the explosion of the bomb. I kill them when they dance and I do not get the reward even though I tried it on every monster from the beginning of the game until the final boss.

I have just realized that I now have to beat the game again even tho this is my 3rd playtrough, since I didn-t do the green tentacle monster because I didn-t think it would matter since you only see it once

For anyone doing this trophy, for me, it did carry through playthroughs, I got it on my first deplanetiser visit in challenge mode. It may be buggy if some people don-t succeed, but for me it did

After hours and hours and playing this god damn game, I just went back to the first map (veldin) and threw the grooviton at the frogs right outside the ship and it worked, I got it finally!

To anyone who misses the jetpack enemy on kalebo 3. Theres more on the deplanetizer when u go back on final level. That happened to me and i was so thankful when i seen the trophy pop

People complaining about this trophy obviously never had to do a real grind to get a trophy. Try getting to xp level 100 in tony hawk 1+2 remake or solving the 243 riddles in Arkham knight.

I find it funny that you can make pretty much every character dance, including the vendor box, but you can't make Elaris dance lol.

I can confirm you don't need the train green tentacles. I went into challenge mode and got the trophy with the enemies on Novalis.

Can confirm that enemies you use groovitron on do carry over, my trophy popped halfway through my first challenge mode.
