The biggest hits and interview footage from ABBA, ABC, A-ha, Alan Parsons Project, Alphaville and Animotion. Should anyone ask me what my favorite music genre is, I just tell em the 80s.
Because why _shouldnt_ a decade count as such
Alphaville tops my list here!

Great idea, what about t to z though Can't remember any eighties bands beginning with z offhand but I'm sure there must have been one, something really obscure.

Aside from not listing The Blood That Moves The Body, which is a pretty good, but, very underrated(and underplayed)song by A-Ha, I like everything else on here.

ABBA were big in Australia, most of their hits were in the 70s though
My favorite
Take on Me Aha
Forever young Alphaville

My opinion: 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989. I mean 80s! Great decade, great music, great fashion!

The first band that came to my mind was A-ha! Take on me is a classic. 'The Living Daylights' is an underrated tune.

AC/DC, Accept, Ad Libs, Aerosmith, After the Fire, Air Supply, Alabama, Alice Cooper, Anthrax, Asia, Autograph.

The only band I thought of was ABBA. then it came A-ha(the only band in that century I can't stand)

Great choice. If you go to the Asian market you also might have made a point with Arabesque, I think.
