Thank you for all Your video compilations. They really bring back great memories. I was in my second year of high school and used to listen to all these songs on radio after school while doing homework. It’s amazing how many great songs came out of 1982. And they didn’t stop, they just kept coming. 1981 to 87 were the golden period. Just so many world famous bands and solo artists who produced so many classics that still endure today. So thankful I was able to live through that golden decade of music. After the 90’s, I pretty much stopped listening to radio. Rap just killed it off for me. Thank goodness nowadays there are lots of digital stations that only play music from the 80’s.

While these may have been recorded in 1982, some weren't hits until later, for example, Hungry Like the Wolf. Others were never hits. They were never played on top 40 radio. Your only chance to hear them is if you lived in a city with an alternative radio station. When MTV came along we started hearing music we had never heard before.

Right out of high school for me! I still enjoyed quite a few of these! It wasn't until I got a car in the mid eighties with an FM converter and the horrible way radio stations would torture listeners with overplay that my tastes started to change! Haha!

For me this is the beginning year of the 5 greats! like I what to call them the 5 best years in music from 1982-1987 I know it made 6 years! but the versatily and various genres on top were so great! thanks for doing this!

Cool to see some good songs from the greatest decade but some you have on here most have never heard & some others like Culture Club karma Chameleon that was not released until September of 83!

This was SUCH a good year for pop, and this is a really good compilation, thank you for it, but you forgot one of the songs of the year.
Now Those Days Are Gone by Bucks Fizz.

I can't believe this was 40 years ago! I was in my second year of High School then and there's so many great memories here. Jack and Diane was (still is) my go to song! Ty for this!

The 80s, what can I say. I didn’t have the best up bringing, didn’t have the best technology. But I can at least say I grew up with the best music. 80s definitely hands down

REPITO: Falta Mike Oldfield y su Five Miles Out o en su defecto su Family Man, un fallo garrafal.

What about Tainted Love by Soft Cell Doesn't that qualify I believe it was a hit in the UK in 1981, but by the time it became a hit here in the USA, it was 1982.

Hardest/Best part of hearing these hit songs are they remind me of what I was going through good or bad at the time.

You've unleashed the '80s beast with these hits, and it's totally awesome! Keep riding the retro wave.
