7 Baby Foxes Reunite With Mom After Being Pulled from Under a Deck I think you are crazy, job half ass done, not to mention the destruction of the patio.
First problem there were seven, do you think they will all get to adulthood
Second problem that means a human is feeding the vixen if they do,
Third problem its a built up area, lots of cars.
Fourth this means a huge population explosion of foxes in the area.
Fifth due to the size of the litter, its not her first one!
So maybe a wildlife sanctuary would have been a better solution or at least weigh the pups and workout the strongest half to release and relocation the others to save a fox.
But nice racket, release them to effect the neighborhood and get paid to do it all over again, definition of insanity!

What a wonderful thing you have done. I had a family of Red Foxes in Michigan living in my old dog kennel. The gate had been left open for many years since I had no dogs and one Christmas Eve after dark an adult Fox peered in the window beside my front door. Well we had fresh snow so I went out to see about it. The tracks led right into my old dog kennel. The roof of the structure where the dog houses were was hinged so I lifted it to peek inside and low and behold there were 2 adults and at least 2 smaller Foxes. They didn't notice me above them, they were all eyes trained on the door into the main structure so I just gently closed the lid and quietly retreated. It was a once in a life time experience. bc

These little guys/girls are not dogs; they're not cats; they're foxes! The mother would not have come to reclaim them if they weren't hers. I've seen a few baby foxes, but they were a bit older and exploring the world outside the den. These are too young to go exploring. They are incredibly cute, as all babies tend to be. Foxes have hair-raising calls. Look it up online. Honestly, hearing it will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up! Too bad that deck got ripped up. A costly exercise!

Sorry but, how was this job considered to be complete Why was vixen and her kits not transported to an area without urban development Were there no woods anywhere nearby! Now she has to find another place --probably close to humans, and God knows what they will do to her and her innocent pups. The fox kits are adorable, but this video left me feeling upset and anxious for the poor vixen! I realize this is 4 years ago now, so what's done is done. SMH.

how horrible is this, just let the foxes where they are. This house was built in their territory and they probably don't have anymore space for them. I don't think it was such a nuisance to have the foxes under the porch for a few weeks until the were old enough. horrible ppl. the baby foxes probably died in a very unsafe location.
reply

That was so unnecessary, unless the deck was endangering people. They should have just left them alone and postponed work on the deck until the cubs were weaned. Install a couple of cameras and enjoy the cuteness all summer, along with a perfectly critter free yard, to boot.
reply

I guess with people like myself you would be out of a job, but if I had baby foxes in my house instead of calling you to remove them, I would feed them, LOL! A few times we had racoons in our property and personally I think the babies are even cuter than baby foxes
reply

Sweet, but I do wish they had transported mama and baby to a better location - parkland, wilderness. Won't she just end up in another person's shed or porch or whatever - and some people would rather poison and kill than humanely remove.
reply

I'm sorry, but I think mom fox should have been given more support in establishing a safe place. She will probably be kicked out of the next place, and the next place. Not a good ending, I'm sure for this poor mama and her babies.
reply

More proof that humans by nature don't inherently want to kill non-human animals (yah, we're animals too. We naturally smile, ooh and aww when we see them.
We are not carnivores or omnivores.
Not a bad thing at all.

reply

Why not just leave them there They weren't separated from their mother, she was just out hunting and had left them in a safe place. Imagine if a predator raided your home and chucked your babies out of their cots.
reply

But if you don’t track where the vixen too the kits, how do you know they’re in a safe place You could be called back in a few hours to rescue them from someone else’s deck or garage or crawl space etc
reply

When she came back the last time to make sure she had them all, she actually went up on the porch. as if to say. thanks guys, for making it easy for me. I like animals better than most humans I meet!
reply

I don't get it. Why move them in the first place Leave them alone and they'll move out in a few weeks. She could have been hit many times crossing the street. People have no tolerance.
reply

they didnt look stuck to me, the mother fox had them there in the first place so why take them out, the only way the mother fox couldnt have got to her cubs if you had blocked her entrance up
reply

I truly don’t understand why somebody would disrupt a safe den for her to go find and make another whole home for that many pups isn’t going to end well. I doubt any survived.
reply

They looked healthy and in good shape, not sure why you kicked them out. Anyway. Thanks for stressing them and their mom then giving them the boot
reply

It would be better to let theme in their place till they grow up a little bite, because their mom moved them to another home like the first one.
reply

The sloppy ring provisionally spill because cheque interestingly test except a extra-large extra-small exuberant attack. serious, divergent dew
reply

ey great business, you rescue the baby foxes, mommy take them to another house, and you get called again and again, what a foxy move you guys! jajaja
reply

I would have happily let them stay. Better than making the mother and kits risk getting hit by a car just to be under someone else's deck.
reply

I'm confused about how they got under the porch without the mother being able to retrieve them herself and bring them to her new burrow.
reply

God created all and nature can be wonderful and I thank God for moments like this that I get to view, even if only on a video.
reply

She probably picks the decks of homes, because fewer predators will come near humans. Her babies are safe!
reply

They should have let them alone. They would have moved on and they would have been fun to watch before they left
reply

Why didn't he just unscrew the deckboards, rather than destroying them Because I know a guy. More On.
reply

The next day, the person across the street will be calling this guy over to remove them from their house.
reply

Bless her heart, a mama’s job is never done. Thank you for rescuing all of those babies.
reply

Cooool. so the mom just put them under another porch somewhere Gj guys lol. Great success.
reply

. and now we wait for a phone call from the deck owner across the street. Mua-ha-ha-ha!
reply

is wildlife not protect in the us, why are they disturbed doing that time of the year
reply

I had to crack up right there when he got the last one his fac was sooooo red
reply

Aww they must have been scared to death in a strange place with no mommy.
reply

Should have left them where they were. The babies were fine under there.
reply

Umm. Y couldn't they just stay where they were. They were temporary
