Growling Pittie Turns Into A Playful Puppy The First Time She Runs On Grass Pittie Nation Ive had this happen before. Extremely skinny dog (the skinniest Ive ever seen still alive) but very sweet in spite of what the owner had done. As I walked him off of the property we passed through the front yard. The second he felt grass for the first time, he started playing like a puppy. I let him enjoy himself for as long as he wanted. He was taken to the shelter, fattened up and placed in a great home.

I'm surprised to see so many negative comments. Yes, there was a person who hurt this dog and yes it's sad to see a dog like that but don't focus on that. For the one person who hurt this dog, there were 4 or 5 showing her love and helping her get over her distrust. That's what you need to focus on. We can all make a difference and there are way more of us than there are of them.

This video makes me sad everytime I watch it. 'Cause I don't want my dog to go through all that abuse and being scared a lot. I'll make sure I'll keep her safe and happy. This guy in the video did an amazing job looking after this dog and showing her not all people are evil. What a wonderful guy.

American public always seems to promote the worst. So many breeds you can trust. Without the risk of getting your face ripped off for picking up their toy. I don't trust pit bulls AT ALL> Too many bad instances I can't ignore like Republicans ignore recounts. Face facts.

Thank God for people with heart and soul who care and do all they can to help these abused animals. We can all contribute, each of us in any way we can, to save them all, to try to change people's hearts, and to push to make animal abuse laws much stricter than they are now.

Like I've said before, my dog was nervous when I first went to pet him. He had been a fighting dog and was like, Well. okay. if this is something you want to do, I'll be there for you. Then he discovered he likes it & it's a daily requirement at home now. :D

Thank you for helping that little rascal it’s sad when people abuse animals like that people that abuse animals are no good. I mean they’re just awful he should be beaten with a razor strap severely this is Jim mungai from Kennerdell Pennsylvania

My dog acts like this around people he doesn't know. He growls a little, too. Just so you know. He is loved and cared for like one of my children. So, it doesn't mean she was beaten or mistreated. Maybe she's shy and has anxiety.

I love how people try hard and don't give up to get animals back on there feet in a happy life! Dogs don't deserve to be abused, hurt, threatened or anything else they are loving and this dog shows us never to give up!

As well as the guy meant, let a dog unwind the first 3 days, don't go near it. Then it needs 3weeks to learn you are no threat, and then it needs 3 months to learn to trust you. How would you feel in that situation

Wonder what they did to her to make her like that. It's really sad. I don't understand why people get a dog if they are going to be so hateful toward it. I am glad this turned out well.

All theses animals want is love and safety. To bad alot of humans don't understand that or choose not to. Bad people need to be treated how they treat theses precious animals!
reply

great story but that damn awful collar should never have been put on her. what the hell people. no animal deserves that. You should try it on and see how nice it is.
reply

I hope the rotten people who abused her were arrested and got what they deserve. Very happy she’s away from the low-life people and is with good people now.

That warms my heart to know humans helped Mama Bear learn to trust humans again. Many years ago a dog helped me learn to trust humans again.

It's so sad to see just how afraid she is of humans. Where ever she came from it must have been hell. It amazes me to see how forgiving dog's are.
