All that talk about how much they needed to be together and you let them be in the same crate!
Let them. gee, how incredibly nice of you, why would you even say that if it isn't to tell the World how kind hearted you think you are, I can't really speak for others or your reasons, but for me, the crate wouldn't exist for one thing, and the idea of them sleeping apart for some weird reason wouldn't even enter my mind, what was your thought process, oh look how much they need each-other, okay, so we'll put one in that crate and then keep them separated. oh, they don't want to be separated, do you think we should 'let them' be together.

This is lovely, I love these stories. But I do have a question, though: I see so many people adopting dogs and cats from places real far away from where they live. Wouldn’t it be nice for everyone if they’d adopt from local shelters That’s just a genuine question that comes to mind whenever I see these long distance adoptions. Granted, the most important thing is that they are being rescued and adopted, but I just think about the animals in town.

Things I don't understand. I watched this video impressed with the effort and success of the foster family and was delighted to see the happy ending. Yet, when I look at the like and dislike I see 500 people did not like this video. On many other non political videos, the nice, encouraging, heart-warming kind there are still a bunch of people who will hit not like. Why Anyone

I have been their dog walker/sitter since they arrived in California! I can confirm they are doing great now. They still are inseparable. Bridget LOVES stuffed toys, and uses them as emotional support. Louie is crazy about tennis balls and enjoys going to dog parks, and loves puppies. Bridget is now pretty much all grey in the face, and louie is starting to get his old man greys

Poor little sweetharts, that first picture just broke my hart. These are such great dogs when people love them. Some owners just do not deserve them. Thank you for having fostered them, because it's not easy to let them go. And thank you to the new loving owner!

Don't forget the animals in the slaughterhouses. They are as worthy and sensitive as dogs, sometimes even more so. Cut out or cut back on meat, dairy, eggs. Support farm sanctuaries, do what you can. They are completely defenseless in the hands of the human monster.

Fantastic story and the best ending you could imagine! We have two pitties (one a foster fail) and she just fell into place. Thank you for recognizing they needed each other. Just pure love for each other. Happy they found their forever home

We bread these beautiful creatures to give and receive love from us. Then we abuse and abandon them like trash. Humans are the scum of the animal world. I’m so happy they found a loving home, it brought tears to my eyes.

This was wonderful. I've always been told that pitties are awful dogs to have, but Bridget and Louie were marvellous. Two beautiful dogs and a lovely forever home. Brought more than a tear to my eyes. Thank you.

This is a story that just absolutely broke my heart in the beginning, and then made my heart swell with happiness at the end. I’m so glad that she adopted them and gave them a forever home. They deserved it.

Why did you have to teach them to sit
People are more into making these vids then they are the actual dogs. there is no reason for a dog to know how to follow orders, except to show your friends.

My best tool for fosters is my own dogs. Especially for gaining trust. But I always offer free pupsitting. I get to see many of them again. Makes it easier, plus then you jump back in to help another.
reply

Fosters are the best of us. To love that much and then let an animal go is incredibly hard. Yet they do it over and over again. Willingly putting themselves through that.

Beautiful story, but who put that crappy music to it It sounds like somebody's building a house in the background and all you hear are the hammering and nailing sounds.
reply

Crates are a controversial 'comfort' to transition dogs into. I wish people would try any of the other methods for acclimating a dog into their home instead of this.

What wonderful fosters! I'm so happy to hear of their forever home! San Diego is an amazing town for dogs. I have no doubt their mom is a dog lover. So lucky!

Heart warming. These video's are my evidence that there is so much good in the world, alongside the not so good. Thanks for telling their story: )

The vermin 1brain cell steroid, freaks who hide behind the dogs are 100% untrainable. they should be cheaply removed. . after that dog

What darlings - really pulled at my heart strings. And thank you for making sure they could stay together. That was lovely.

People that take in puppies and then send them to the poind when they are big are as bad as Nazis
reply

reply

May the Wild Mother bless these souls, may she bring them love and longevity in their lifes.
reply

Geez just saw the pic at beginning. Makes you cry. So good to see happiness there
reply

Cute story but the lady reading the script really took away from the whole thing.
reply

Are we STILL using backround music to solicit an emotional response from people
reply

famous picture of the two in the shelter. SO happy that they are well! THANK YOU
reply

I watch this every time it pops up. Never get tired of seeing their transformation.
reply

Love, love, love this story. Thank you for letting them stay together!
reply

I couldn't foster any dogs because I would end up keeping them all.
reply

Is there someone narrating this video behind the ridiculously loud music
reply

if those initial faces don't break your heart. you don't have one.
reply

From 2020 to watching this now in 2024. I hope they are still as happy.
