I don’t even know why, but maybe it’s because it was a stark reminder that There are an awful lot of animals out there that are either mistreated or have to be put
down. I guarantee that almost every one of those animals is capable of the same emotions. Somehow we humans have conveniently ignored this fact. We view ourselves as superior when in fact, we are vastly more aggressive and dangerous than most animals will ever be.
Also, I couldn’t help but to think that it’s a sad sad fact that both of these guys lifespan is entirely too short. Horses is 30 yrs. For most medium to large dogs it’s 12 to 15 years. I recently lost my best friend. It was devastating, right up up there with the death of a family member. It crossed my mind that the same thing will eventually happen with these two guys. Still the positives out way any negative, but it’s hard to ignore one of these guys will eventually lose their soulmate.
OK, let me shut up now. I feel like a fool.

I've worked in an office behind a computer my entire life. The thing that amazes me when I see videos of people who live on farms/around animals is how insanely calm and relaxed they sound. It's a level of calmness I can only dream of achieving.

I love it so much to see when the doggos are unleashed and hang around near you. I hate keeping animal in captive or on leash unless it's for their own good.
