16 Year Old Shelter Dog Starts Galloping Like A Puppy With His Foster Dad Foster Diaries Like people have said here, a pup is a lifetime commitment.
Just like hes (or she is) committed to you in good times and especially in bad times.
I know this from firsthand experience because my Rottweiler passed away after battling over 9 months bone cancer and other health challenges.
She didnt give up on herself nor life itself so, how could I have possibly have given up on her
Regardless of the expense and lifestyle alterations because of her cancer, they pale in comparison to the love her pup brothers and my wife, son and I received from her.
She was a blessing from God and she is now back with her true Father pain-free and running, walking and playing in Heaven.

Wow, the way he suddenly had the energy and confidence to run is, to me, a testament to a dog's need for love. He had been just waiting it out at the shelter until he died, but once there was someone and something to live for he transformed. I know this is just one dog out of literally millions in his situation, but it does me good to think that this boy's last time was spent with caring and affectionate people.

How's Henry doing Or has he left THIS world and in Heaven
Yes Heaven to all of you who may have given a delicate chuckle. The ENTIRE Animal Kingdom were ALSO the creation of the Almighty and He loves them. They're innocent and show nothing but LOVE and TRUST. They're more guaranteed to be there than probably most humans.

If you can't commit to a lifetime of loyalty. DON'T!
DO NOT ABANDON YOUR PETS. animals don't move on. They sepend the rest of their lives wondering what they did for their owners (whom they love and are loyal to ALWAYS & WITHOUT QUESTION) to abandon them.
It's as cruel as it is heartbreaking.

What an awsome story. I'm experiencing the same with a now 16 yr old dog who looks identical. Neighbor passed and I just could see her Chloe get taken away as she can barley see and hear. She with me now and doing pretty good for now as of Dec 2023 so say a prayer for old Chloe if you see this.

They also will answer, Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you’
He will reply, Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me. ’

I don't know how anyone could look at that white old face and not fall in love with him. Senior dogs are wonderful.
