I challenge all activists to volunteer at an animal shelter near them for two years, doing anything that is asked of them (this means hard work, not just sitting around talking in a cat run, on a consistent basis, and give monetarily to that shelter, on a consistent basis, instead of pretending to help animals by being an activist.

When you see a happy, healthy and trusting animal, you are seeing the owners desire to express the value they place on their awareness of the animals needs, the quality of our care reflects the sincerity of our kindness, we must never fall so far from grace that we loose animals trust in us through abuse and neglect.

This restores some of my faith in humanity. What a wonderful thing to do for that helpless dog. she deserves a medal. I would seriously do prison time if I found the people who could hurt a dog like this. It sends me into a rage.

It’s amazing that dogs can live two lives. She had this terrible first life, and thankfully, she now has an awesome second life. And so heartwarming that there are people out there rescuing these beautiful creatures.

Same thing happened to my Samson hit by a car and dumped near my home, he was an old rottie. Had the best 4 yrs of his life with my family and i. saw several states along the way!
