This Ball Python Hangs Out in a Crochet Cave Soulmates Im that INBETWEEN person. I was afraid of snakes until a friend of my bros handed me his tiny new snake in his room and it just sat there on my arm no matter if i got up and walked or sat. I did go to an exotic animal store and hold a GIANT ROSE TARANTULA and gave it bk after about 60 secs. But after that, it was no big deal. But wild spiders creep me out. I had an ALL WHITE APPARTMENT and got up one night to pee. I stopped in the middle of the room and felt like something was there. I turned on the light and in the middle of the ceiling was a real giant tralantula! I had NO IDEA HOW IT GOT IN! I put a chait under it, grabbed a big round glass, it was too big spread out but it crunched up smaller, i slammed up the glass above my hea, it made it run in circles around top to bottom trying to push the glass away from the ceiling so i had to hold it with 2 hands! Vouldnt move no matter how scared i was. I shook the glass so it fell into the center while sliding my flip flop across the top between the glass and ceiling. When i got it covered then it starts running up and down trying to push my shoe off. I had to hold tight and pray. I took to my toilet because it was BIGGER THAN MY HAND AND IM NOT GONNA TRY TO STEP ON THAT THING AND HAVE IT JUMP ON MY LEG. IT WAS TOO BIG TO FLUSH!
SO I PUT A BUNCH OF TOILET PAPER ON IT THAT DIDNT WORK, THEN USED TOILET SCRUBBER TO HOLD UNDER WATER. I WATCHED BUBBLES COME OUT OF ITSFACE SO I KNEW I COULD DROWN IT. JUST WHEN I THOUGHT IT WAS DEAD IT TRIED CLIMBING OUT AS I FLUSHED IT AGAIN! I PUT A BUNCH OF TOILET PAPER ON IT AGAIN AND IT WAS TOO WEAK TO FIGHT OUT. I SWEAR, I ALWAYS TURNED ON THE LIGHT AND GLUSHED THE TOILET FOR A YEAR IN CASE IT EVER CAME BACK!
IT WASNT TAME OR A PET. I LIVED BY AN OPEN DIRT FEILD WHERE MY APPARTMENTS WERE. AND IT WAS A VERY HOT SUMMER. SO IM SURE IT CAME LOOKING FOR COOL AIR AND WATER. I GOT THE DEADLIEST SPIDER SPRAY AND SPRAYED OUTSIDE AND INSIDE BECAUSE I HAD A TINY CHIHUAHUA AND CAT! AND ALL THESE DIFF KINDS OF SPIDERS WOULD BE RIGHT OUTSIDE MY SLIDING GLASS DOOR EVERYNIGHT! So im a big believer in having boarder patrol check your produce before coming into my state! This thing was NOT LOCAL OR A PET!

I've got a massive phobia of snakes but ball pythons are quite sweet. I'm scared of really huge snakes and venomous ones- I don't understand people who keep massive ones as pets. Isn't it cruel and irresponsible to have such huge snakes as they don't have space plus they could be dangerous to other pets and people Do ball pythons get on with other pets such as cats Are they capable of strangling other pets I'm definitely not thinking of getting one I'm just curious as I don't know much about snakes. Snake lovers I've met say that snakes are very friendly. I knew a vet and he said that snakes are so friendly. How do you know if it's friendly I'm very ignorant about snakes.

In the wild, his ball python ancestors preferred the cozy security of small spaces like inside termite mounds or rock crevices. You’re giving him a soft, warm version of what he craves when he’s not out exploring. Snake bliss! Love the name you chose.
I’m no expert, but are you sure he’s a male From the short glances in the video, his tail seemed shortish.

The fact she seems surprised/humoured by the fact her snake likes to hide is concerning and makes me wonder how much she actually knew about snakes before getting one. All snakes love caves/hides and should always have the option to use them. It makes them feel safe, not having a cave/hide can stress them out. This is really basic knowledge

I have a 5 yr old male ball who is absolutely amazing. His name is Bruno and he doesn't know what an enclosure is. They are awesome animals, just give them a chance and they will like you back. I also have a 3 yr old female ball named Fidi. They are polar opposites. But she is absolutely gorgeous and we have fun.

Most people don’t realize this is why ball pythons do great in a rack system. They like to have somewhat tight spaces that make them feel safe. Sometimes when I put my snakes in racks that are too big they get scared and will only eat if I downsize them to a smaller tub where they feel more safe and secure.

I’m surprised how much the Dodo is reptile owner friendly now and promotes reptile ownership. This is good media because Dodo has this bad Anti-reptile keeping propaganda reputation going back many years. This is the right step for Exotic Pet reptile-keeping Movement: not based on opinions.

Oh I have a ball python but still sure about unravel because maybe because she arrived in a bag instead of the box I don’t know she didn’t shut up unravel when I picked her up to put her in her tank but nobody understands the nature of snakes when they’re not afraid directly very nice

I am not a fan of reptiles but there are few of them that I like which includes snakes and spiders, they are just so beautiful, and it make me forget that these two reptiles are one of the most feared species in the world for humans. I personally like snakes more than spiders.

I adore snakes!
I have a cousin who used to have a huge pet snake, he has always loved snakes. I think I really got my love of snakes from him. I used to not love snakes but not hate them either, but then I decided I adored them! They are one of my four favorite animals!

My snake looks identical and he is the best pet I have ever owned. He love’s coming out, open the top and he comes up and into my hand. I have other snakes but he’s special! People say ball python are pet rocks, not a chance.

This is so magical and a connection I dreamed of, considering I really really love snakes. However I am unable to convince my parents so far, despite years of trying to convince them of how cute and gentle snakes are

I love it, I've had Ms. Wiggles for 12 years now and whenever I just some time to cuddle I'll lay with her and watch movies and she will stay right on my chest just staring at the TV and it's absolutely adorable

I love ball pythons. I was always kind of in the middle. Didn't hate them didn't like either, if I saw one, i'd just respect it's space and move on. But when I first saw a ball python, I just fell in love.

I'm a in between, I'm afraid of them, don't like them around me, but I appreciate their beauty, grace and respect their right to life. So, while I would NOT own one, I think they're beautiful!

Poor snake. Living in this plush toys universe with this human, instead of being a wild, sacred predator in his native jungle.
How selfish spoiled brats humans are.

Fun Fact! : Snakes are very interested in TV, because of the heat signatures from it are interesting to them and they're trying to figure out what's going on lol
