Foster Pittie Has A Very Specific Morning Routine Foster Diaries REMEMBER! If you dog start to eat things like pillow, couch, etc. This mean he/she is in stress. You need to buy some things to chewing like some rope, ordinary wood stick, or some rubber toys.
ALSO. you need play with this toys with dog at least few days. Then dog will be a little relaxed and in stress he/she should take one of this toy to relax, not bit couch or pillow for example.
In this clip it obvious for me, that this dog need attention and he try to find his place in this new situation. This is v. stressful for him, especial for this long time when he was in dog shelter.
Now is good to buy and connect internet camera with audio/speaker. Then connect it to TV, so you can see and communicate to you dog, when you spend to long time in work. (for example)
Also is good to familiarize dog, that you leave him alone in home for some period of time. Its good to make short breaks for start like 1-2 hours, then longer like 2-4 hours. Then you can try 6-8 hours. With this, you dog will know that you come back for him soon and he dont need to worry about it.

Oh thank you so much for fostering! It's so important, especially for harder to adopt dogs. I hope King found a great home. We adopted our Staffy 6. 5 years ago, and 6 months in the shelter (a very good shelter) led to extreme, odd manic behavior. He'd latch onto things--many different types of things (tree roots, branches, couch cushions, ropes, tarps, etc)--and pull and pull but refuse to let go. It was like he completely checked out, and it could be dangerous for him sometimes. It was a rough go at first and we spent a lot of time positive reinforcement training and really prioritized his needs, and over time he got SO much better. The behavior still lurks but he's a 98% different dog. And he's the absolute love of our lives. These guys just need a chance!

Love it love it love it I have three and when I saw a touch I said oh my God she looks just like Maisie the wooing pitbull that this woman adopted who was one of my favorite dodo stories and he is beautiful and I love him and I love you and I'm a pitbull advocate you pull the dog out of a shelter you don't really know what he's been through yet their resilience and resolve is amazing amazing they only have so many Summers and beautiful skies at night with us he will do nothing but enrich and make your life better just like the three rescues of mine did I love him and I love u

You feeding him that complete dog food rubbish he definitely wants the human food or he won’t live passed 9-10 years old. Why would he want that fake biscuit soilent green nasty stuff. Dogs eat veggies. I hope this wasn’t one of those ppl wanting to get fame from rescuing a dog and a real dog lover, I NEVER feed my dog that biscuit rubbish and majority of ppl are educated on that. Stop giving money to companies that don’t care about dog health, biscuit is convenience.

He will be your best companion ever. This breed is the most incredible breed ever. I am 60 yers old and have had many dogs and never again will i have anything other. The breed is great with children. Mine love my grandbabies. They just love people. One of mine does yard duties every morning and night. She does her rounds and checks to make sure all the other animals are good. Wonderful farm dogs too.

I rescued a second PITTY and planned on fostering only since I have an older pit that is my love. Well my new rescue settled in so quickly and is so loving, we belong together. I could never let him go. He is family. It took less than 2 days: )

I hope that the majestic and magical King Tut was a Foster Fail. You two are Laurel and Hardy, Batman and Robin, Green Eggs and Ham, Fred and Barney, Ben and Jerry, Chip and Dale. in other words. You belong together. I hope you failed.

When King, or any other pup, is chewing on something inappropriate, after you give him the correctionno. or whatever, immediately give him something APPROPRIATE to chew. Immediately. Make the training easier and successful.

who said vet and fruit aren't good for dogs have you ever heard of a r as diet were they are vet and after king but you will go looking for him to adopt him he is beautiful and has manner this must have been your first foster dog

Update! I adopted Tut a year ago. He is doing amazing and my baby! He is spoiled rotten and I love him dearly! Thank u Chris for all your work he is absolutely the sweetest boy and we couldn't b happier!

Just like humans dogs can kill. It doesn’t mean a whole breed should be banned as pit bulls are generally loving loyal gentle goofy animals. We don’t ban humans because they kill so why pit bulls
reply

Um, why can't he have veggies My Husky LOVES his veggies. Carrots, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cherry tomatoes. I could literally make him a salad and he'd think he hit the jackpot.
reply

It would be so hard for me to be a foster because it would be too hard to say goodbye. However I know it's a way for them to get adjusted for when they go to their forever home.
reply

When he is chewing on something he shouldn’t be, give him an alternative! Gently scold him and give him a chew toy. And heck, get him some kind of toy, at least, poor guy!
reply

Anyone that drives around with a dog thats not secure in a cage should not be permitted to have a dog! Do you even think about what a projectile he becomes in a crasch!
reply

I have to laugh that you tell him it’s human food and then feed him comercial crap that is even more detrimental. If you love him give him a real raw diet lol.
reply

Dude, you need to do a little better on his food. Actually cook him some real meat, or give it raw. Include veggies too. He deserves better than store bought kibble.
reply

Dogs yawn when nervous or uncertain of there circumstance. And do give him vegetables, the first thing a wolf eats is the ptays stomach full of plant matter.
reply

Please, please, PLEASE put a mat or towel down on the bath tub floor to help stabilize their footing. That's the reason they don't like the tub.
reply

Dogs are crazy; random human picked me up not knowing if they will stay or go back but just loving life all the way. I wish I could do this myself
reply

Oh my god I can't even imagine the coziness of going to bed then have your loving pittie resting their head on your stomach. Sense of calm and security.
reply

To the person that fostered King Tut. I say Thank you to you and your so kind and wonderful with King. The world needs more people like you.
reply

This is how to talk to a dog. Quietly saying, no, no, rather than yelling threats, gets better results. A conversation not an ultimatum.
reply

Great video but please use the brain that god gave you and take off the mask dude - it was all BS
But hey im just an undertaker

reply

be careful if you feed him peanut butter, there is an additive that is fatal for dogs in a lot of different types of pb
reply

I knew he would stay as soon as you let him on the bed we just can't help falling in love with those faces.
reply

I have seen alot of videos where pitties love getting ready in the morning with their humans. Just precious
reply

He has to keep him. That was an instant bond. No way I would be able to give king up if I was that guy
reply

Chris, you’re awesome dude! The look on both of your guys faces when he gets in bed lol I love it
reply

All these foster people. I just dont know how they do it. I get too attached and would end up with a zoo
