Hello bird, I know we're on different levels of the food chain, but you are now a humans pet. For is no longer a problem. If we do cute things in front of the box the human holds we get even more treats!

To see a bird not being afraid or stressed by a cat at all and the cats being so relaxed with it as well as to sit together in a bird cage is really special. I wonder if the owner is leaving them together unsupervised as well, but I guess not.

It's very unusual for cats to see birds as friends rather than food because usually their predator instincts kick in and wham. bird is lunch. Then again I have seen a video or two of cats being friends with hamsters so it's not impossible.

So great, many years ago before cell phones, my orange Kitty and cockateil were like this, the best of friends, and the bird would imitate the cat's meows and purrs and call him, 'here Kitty, kitty, kitty! '

I think animals have their own secret life. They are instinctively attuned between themselves. Human beings are not like that. We are wired differently. Anyway it is great to see videos like this.

My cat was best friends with my bearded dragon. They used to sit/lay by the window and watch the bird feeder for hours. I have great photos of them. My Beardie died at 16. My cat is now 10.
