Hi there. I had a question so recently I bought a parakeet from a PetSmart but I realized I wouldn't be able to care for it properly as I am getting busy with work and would hardly be home. I was wondering if I can surrender it to a Petco that's near by The PetSmart I bought the bird from is 10 hours away and I don't have the time to make that trip but there is a Petco 2 hours away. Would I be able to surrender it there I'm hysterical right now and overwhelmed because I feel ashamed I'm giving it back but I do need advice immediately

Unintentionally humorous in that it initially sounds like a lonely woman who is almost too attached to a bird. Then suddenly a man appears briefly as if he's just an extra in the video, lol. Congrats on getting the nursing degree. You will need both the parrot and the man to deal with that career choice as I worked in hospitals for years.

Im so happy that this video didn't end like the last video i think i watched from them where the bird had passed away. I love seeing people with this type of bond our animal companions deserve so much love.

I've heard horror stories about letting the birds loose when people are still in bed. Just heartbreaking stories. (They're too tiny, and people move around while sleeping)
