Dog Rides A Motorcycle With His Dad Through All 50 States Soulmates Enjoyed very much your video. That is exactly my dream for years. Questions: 1) did you have a backpack or something to hold the do tight to your back I have a black labrador with 50--60lbs and I bought a backpack that holds this load but I barely could step on and out of a BMW high motard bike. I can not carry my dog inside the backpack anymore, it is too heavy. 2) does your dog stands behind you on the ride Is he loose sitting by your back or do you have anything to secure him in place Kindly respond that riding my bike with my dog is the dream of my life. 3) how did you train him to sit still behind your back without falling off Thank you for your kind reply! We are buddies in this dream.

Hey Mike, I feel like I just wanted to let you know that your story resonates with me so deeply. I had an Alaskan husky exactly like yours and I'm a highly nomadic travelin wildlife biologist. Demon traveled 38 states and 2 countries with me and was my travel companion, field/research partner, best friend and rock since home meant being with him. He passed away 8 months ago and I still feel like I can't breath. Your story reminded me that others feel the same as me and I know you don't need to be reminded but enjoy socks as much as you can. I think you only get true love once and sometimes it's with a different species lol.

I used to have a little 50cc moped/scooter. My ex boyfriend used to brag about his experience with driving Harleys, and I figured he'd be a good passenger, but he was the WORST, leaning into turns that didn't need a lean or before they needed a lean.
But, his little 20lb doggy, Sparky, was the BEST passenger I ever had on that scooter. I'd put him in a messenger style duffel bag behind me with the strap over my shoulder so we were attached yet he had his feet on the seat. That dog would just surf the turns behind me. He was a natural!

I cant wait to teach my pup to ride on the harley with me that was literally the first thing i thought with mamma bear she was just to old already probably 13 when i got into moto gunna make the trip across the rainbow bridge soon but i got her great grandbaby to keep me comapny for a good 15- 20 years and she gets to know mamma for a small while. So encouraging i thought id have to make a special seat or cargo rack.

I have CPTSD and have a Dog white husky named Faith. I hit rock bottom years ago and finally got stable. I’m looking at buying at Honda Navi, and getting a large dog backpack/harness for my dog to ride with me. I relate to your story brother. This inspired my to the fullest.

I want to know how did you start your training to get him on the bike and to stay while riding I'm a Husky parent recently widowed. This has been one of my HOW DO YOU DO THIS (THAT AND GET ME BEER OUT OF THE FRIDGE)
Your boy looks identical to my Dakota

This is so sweet. My husband took our dog on his bike. She was still a puppy at the time so he padded a crate and secured it to the bike. He fixed it so she couldn't fall out. They rode from two states over and back again.

Love this. My jack Russell rides on my 350 Enfield meteor in a rucksack on the tank, he loves it, the best part is when you stop at the traffic lights, he looks up. And starts kissing you, life don't get any better than that.

Epic!
Ive a motorbike and recently welcomed a rescue dog into the established human pack.
I would absolutely take him out on the bike if it proves to be his thing!

The months you spend teaching him to ride is incredible. I can tell Sox is having the time of his life. What an amazing adventure you and Sox are having.

This is beautiful. But the worried side of me is thinking, is he secured in anyway Looks like he’s just hanging on with no support, if so, that’s INSANE!
reply

I'd be so scared he'd fall off accidentally, I'd wan't to tie a rope around us both. lol. I mean it's pretty cool and all but it's still scary to me.

Despite being a cute story and all, is this legal Can only afford a motorcycle, but can ride through all states doing nothing else. Hmm

I’m actually surprised he didn’t get stoped by the police in certain states, some have animal restrictions on open vehicles.
reply

This is my actual dream, except for riding all of the UK and eventually all of Europe instead of the states. I love it!
reply

Did you ever get pulled over by police Considering taking my dog to Ak. this summer on my bike. I use a back seat carrier.

reply

It's just so sad that dogs has a short life span, when they're gone, all we have are memories.
reply

what if he has to come to an immediate stop on the highway that doesn't look too safe for the dog.
reply

I couldn't even get my dog to get in the back of a pickup truck and we lived on a farm oh well.
reply

Without a doubt you are his dad and best friend. What a fantastic beautiful adventure
reply

i wish i can have a dog like you. I have a big problem with allergy sickness to dog.
reply

One hard brake or swerve would get that dog killed.
He needs The Ruff Rack.

reply

I'm really surprised how well he stays on the bike, awesome!
Great video,
