My stray adopted us 4 years ago. I wanted to adopt another but he didn’t seem to like other cats, very territorial and quite the hunter. Until one day he woke me earlier than normal to go outside, there was a big white kitty in the backyard. I wouldn’t let him out and tapped on the sliding glass thinking the cat would run off, instead it came running and meowing to the door. I was surprised how friendly the big guy was. My cat didn’t act up or hiss, I opened the door a little to meet him and he just meowed and purred. It was winter so I put out a kitty condo and blanket for him and a little food. After a week of faking hurt paw to come inside, he moved inside at night. Finally we took him to the vet to see if he was chipped and got him neutered, he lives here with us and he’s definitely my cats cat

I ended up finding a kitten on the side of the highway while doing deliveries, the little boy ran up to me as soon as I stepped out of the truck and started rubbing all over my legs, I picked him up and he started kissing my face. I brought him home and now he's my baby. He's such a friendly boy it's amazing! The vet said he was around 8 weeks old when I found him and now he's a few months old! Blue is now in his forever home with me and his older siblings Westley and Sissy!

No such thing as a dog person. You just havent met the cat yet that will change it all.
We were dog people for 15 years and had to put him to sleep. We swore we'd never get another pet. 4 weeks later my brother comes home with a dirty and smelly kitten in his pocket that he took out of an industrial sized bin at his work. Somebody threw her in. I said we cannot keep a kitten. Then I saw her.

My Father-in-law had Parkinson's. He was always a dog person so my mother-in-law got him a new dog. The dog became too much for him. We have fostered cats and kittens for several years. We were able to offer him a cat that we thought would be great for him to try. He loved that cat. When he was forgetting everything he still remembered his new cat. It comforted him and calmed him.

I have two out of 11 that are really REALLY fluffy, and for some reason they are the most loving out of all the cats I have ever known. They trust me to the point where I am holding them in my arms and they roll around, love cuddles and want to be where ever I am in the house. people should feel privileged that any cat can trust a human to that extent, due to their nature!

I'm a dog person, but I have met cats I really like. I also met cats that bit me, sunk their claws in my head when I went to pick up something they pushed onto the floor, sat on my lap so I would pet them, then turned and clawed my hand for no reason, etc. etc.

I was a dog person, when I lost my sister in 2020 i needed something, when someone i knew found a kitten they asked if i could take her. My husband said yes and we got Molly i never knew how loving cats are! Im now a cat person

Thats a Ragdoll Siamese, well known for their friendliness and love of people. Poor thing was just languishing in that cage without a human to cuddle! Thank you for saving him!

The cat appears to be a birman cat, and they're only happy with people. They're extremely social cats. Birmans are like if a dog was a cat.
