But while he lived with us he slept on us while watching TV. Climbed on us when wed do the dishes or make dinner. My son named him Spock, after Star trek, and he well knew his name. Youd call to him, hed jump up, do a little happy dance and come running. Im always amazed how human, animals can be.
I know many people will totally understand your love for your little guy. Its not hard at all. They can show as much love as any living thing can. And if and when they go off to college or with a mate, the sadness of the departure can hurt just as much. Its awesome. Take care.

Thank You Our Good Brother And Our Good Sister For Doing All You Done To Help Gods Beautiful Creatures. I Tried To Save A Squirrel While Wrongly In A Mental Health Hospital In Warley Brentwood. I Got Him as Safe As I Coud While I Run In to Call RSPCA for help. I placed him In an over turned traffic cone I placed on its side up of the ground so foxes couldnt get him. He stood up looking for me I see him through the window I was tapping the office window saying it is ok I am getting you help and then I am coming back out I am not leaving you. He was perched up standing looking for me his little hands on the cone. He had internal bleeding Bless him he was frightened I finished the call I didint realize at the time how seriously hurt he was. I went rushing back out talking saying help is on the way. I poked my head in the huge gap of the cone he had gone he had passed over. I was absoulutly distraught i said i am so sorry I didint realize how hurt you are I said a nice prayer passing him Back To Heaven as i stroked his little body he had already got rigamotous. It was so difficult for me that experiance. God Rest His Soul Amen xxxxxxx Home To Heaven Amen xxxxxxx With Our Ever Growing Ever Loveing Heavenly Family Amen xxxxxxx I cried again over this just now wow it upset me remembering this Earthly Life Time Experiance x

You are both amazing & wonderful people to help this baby squirrel & allow him to be part of your family, not to mention how you both are rescuing more squirrels in desperate need of help! Thank you! My wife and I have such a similar story. Our 140 lb. German Shepherd brought a tiny, hairless, pink critter to the back door in his mouth. He set it down gently in front of me wanting me to see it. I had no idea what kind of animal it was but immediately began to feed it 'Abandoned Animal formula' from a tiny eyedropper with a rubber nipple. Our amazing squirrel journey started on that day and I will never forget those years of our life as we watched that little guy grow into a real family member. He was loved by both of our Shepherds and even our big male cat. I would love to do it all over again!

Most beautiful squirrel story, actually I’ve heard another squirrel story about a men who rescue one squirrel and this squirrel live in his house and one day while was at work a thiff broke in his house but the squirrel beat so bad this thiff and he was cought by police cause the alatm system and the police ask who beat him so bad he has wounds on his face, hands and he say that the squerrl from the house did that to him

There's a squirrel owners club in Ha Noi, Viet Nam.
I'm an Aussie & my Vietnamese wife & I often meet some of them at one of the dog parks we take our rescue dog to.
They take their squirrels out like we do & one couple let's me play with their one who I'm, of course, very fond of.
They're really sweet little buggers too, adorable really.

So precious! Aside technology corrupting minds, some say. i am grateful that it is up and around because i kno for me it helps with things i never knew esp when finding babies or injured animals! Never knew how to care for them and there is so much online, thanks to other caring pet lovers that I can now make a difference in a small way!

My son just found a baby squirrel at work and I've had him for two days! I think he's about five weeks old and he wanted nothing to do with me until I started scratching his tummy and now he's getting a little bit warmed up to me. I am in love!

I'm using my sons account I use to have a friend squirrel Steve, he would only come to me, somehow he knew what time school was over, he would run right to me and i would make his home in the winter months with a box hay and a warm blanket

I live in the middle of the woods with squirrels all around me. I am always scared that when a tree falls or get cuts down, there would be baby squirrels in it. I hope none get hurt but if they do then I hope I’m there for them.

I love this vid and watch it regularly. The only thing I don't like about it is it reminds of how much I miss my outside squirrels cuz of a fire and I had to move suddenly one night away from them.

A small concern. Squirrels are a natural reservoir of Bubonic Plague. Not all populations of course. It's something to keep in mind before touching any wild squirrel.
