It was huge and chunky. I am it and I said: that is the most beautiful tail I have ever seen in a cat. I Was looking at it from behind. Once the squirrel moved and I saw the face my heart dropped. I was mesmerized by such georgious looking creature.
I see them every time I go to Michigan and I wish we had them in the South.
They are just Gorgeous and exotic looking.
They have also in MI Red squirrels, they are gigantic, but in my views the Black squirrels take the crown.

Omg blk babies darlings never have i seen these color, I have saved 16 in my life time and I am 59 yrs old but ur video made me soooooooo happy u just don't know. U r a blessing. Yup of course I cried happy tears. The ones I raised recently well 14 yrs ago I moved so my neighbor watches them haven't talk to her long time cuz of my health. Wow, to keep them healthy when they're that young & tiny & hairless requires so much skill. Their digestive systems are extremely fragile up until they open their eyes around 5 weeks, it's very challenging to care for them. This woman does a wonderful job! It's a thrill to see them released back to the wild where they're happiest & most at home.

I came here because me and my familly saw a month old squirrel I think fall from a large tree. IT was not moving but it was just blinking. I bought it home and kept it in a safe place. When it's ok I'll leave it back at that tree. I just wanted to know if anyone here knows how to care for it. If yes then please coment. I'm 13. thanks

Reminds me of a story of this colored girl in Newfoundland and labrador way back. One day she came home from school and asked mom mom why am looking like this that’s exactly what the squirrels are gonna say when they first open their eyes. I've never seen a black squirrel, where do they have them at There was a family of white albino squirrels near where I live for a while, havent seen them in years but they were here for a couple years. The ones near where I live now are red. another color I had never seen.

I actually got to hold a brown squirrel just yesterday when I was at work. A lady came into the store with him and a girl possum (both were well behaved) and she said that the squirrel had suffered a head injury and wasn't releasable so he was her pet.
