Stray Mama Cat Was So Feral That Rescuer Had To Wear Gloves Around Her Faith = Restored
video description
Theyre pretty easy to domesticate if u have patience like this lady. Cause it can take a while. My last cat took 4 or 5 years before he finally ran up and wanted inside. Lol. Ferals make the best cats. They do goofy things and love on u hard

Good thing you had gloves on. I got attacked by a feral cat on i almost had to have 3 digits amputated! Had to get plastic surgery! Even if your own cat bites you. immediately go to the hospital! Cats saliva is extremely dangerous to humans! I dont hate the cat that bit me but their saliva and bacteria are dangerous to us!

Feral cats CAN be domesticated. I have done it with every single stray and feral cat I have taken in. There has not been a feral cat I have not been able to domesticate and love until they cross the rainbow bridge. They need patience, love and safety. I’ve done it over 60 times. It does happen, as this video proved.

why not wait until her babies are grown, THEN try taming her shes defensive because she has babies, and theyre reaching in her cage where her babies are. she is healthy, you could just not impose your version of life on her, and let her be a free cat, spay her and let her go. of course people have issues not meddling

I would not consider that a feral. She was an undersocialized friendly. I had a mama foster that I couldn't even touch for months! (She finally gave in and is the sweetest thing ever now. This cat in the vid at least had enough exposure to humans during her young kitten days to be able to be like this.

Something you have to understand about the feral mindset. Food aggression is a part of the deal; fighting you for the food, wanting it right now, attacking you if you interfere with the animal feeding. This is normal behavior with wild or feral domestics, especially with canines and felines.

idk I feel like after the first few days the glove wasn't rly necessary; you can tell w her reactions she was never intending to actually do damage; they were all warning shots w no real follow through. it probably made it a bit harder for her to get used to getting pet tbh

Such a nice video, it made me cry although it had a happy ending. These ladies made a super good job with shadow, they gave her love and the trust she needed to be a domestic cat. I am happy that shadow has one of her babies with her. Thanks to everyone.

This is cruel. YOU caused her so much stress. You should have just allowed her to be feral until she weaned her babies. That would have been better for her and the babies. I am disgusted at your blatant dominance over a captive animal.

I love how when the cats no longer feral they become so fat. I had a kitten who was 1lb when I got from shelter, felt like there’s no kitten in there at all when I’m taking her home and then now she is fat chonk

My family fosters cats for a foster group in Australia, and one of them have unfortunately been in fostering for 2 years after being abused. However he’s going well now, still very hesitant though.

I had a feral momma cat give birth to kittens in my son's play house. I trapped her and the kittens and called an animal rescue service. Mom and kittens all got adopted into good homes.

I love to see a cat yawn. That's the ultimate sign that they're relaxed and feel completely safe in the environment. Also usually a sign that they're about to nap. :)

We have a cat like Shadow, she was one of the most feral cats I've ever seen. But with patience and food we eventually won her over and now she's a cuddle bug.

Was stressing out mama cat worth it Ask her. Obviously, her answer is NO. This gets disturbing. There has to be a saner way to deal with a feral cat mother.

Beautiful cat. And. I would never try to pet a feral cat until I have fed her for several days. Approach slowly, very slowly. My two cents.

Another way to get her to come to you is to grab one of the kittens and just let the kitten meow to attract the mama
