Stray Cat Gives Birth In Woman's Bathroom Foster Diaries Your story brings tears to my eyes, we had the same thing happen 15 yrs ago. We named her Tina, she was pure black and just showed up one day into our garage, and never left. Within days we knew she was pregnant and before she even saw our vet she gave birth in the bedroom under my nitestand. She had 5 darling kittens, but when the 6th arrived at 4am we knew there was big trouble, she was exhausted and the kitten wasnt breathing or moving and she didnt remove the sac. I used a wet washcloth and then gently rubbed his chest and gave him breathes, and he came around! We found homes when the time came to part but I couldnt give up Baby James so we lived happily with Tina and our little boy for 14 yrs. We lost out precious Tina last fall, and I swear I hear her still, but Sweet Baby James is sitting on the bed beside me as I type, watching every move.

Someone should really study how a Stray Cat Who wants nothing to do with Humans.
UNTIL they get knocked up! .That's how I got my 1st cat when I was a kid.
I lived out in the country in NW Mississippi back in the late 80's lol. My closest neighbor was a 1/2 mile down the road
It was in the fall months 8 or 9 pm I was helping get groceries in, heard this loud Meowing and this Tabby cat appears, wants immediate attention ran into our house sniffed around a bit, ate, then jumped onto the back of the couch and that was that. About 6 weeks later, kitten's everywhere.
Their wild Mindset does a Complete 180 and so often I've heard the same kind of story where a Farel cat turns Domesticated over night lol.
So bizarre.
But Awesome!

I had to help my unknowingly pregnant cat give birth to a breech first kitten and then 4 others. They were SO small they could all fit in the palm of my hand. I never had such joy as I did with them but I wish she had never had them because after they were born she took to hating me. I don't know if it was because I helped her breech kitten survive or because I kept the kittens moving toward their necessary milestones so they could leave. We gave her and a kitten to family, kept a couple and gave two others to close friends.
They were a joy to watch grow up. They loved to watch animal videos on TV.
The mother and I never had a good relationship afterwards and that did sadden me.

The day I was born, they came home from the hospital and found that while my mom was giving birth, so was Taz. They gave two of the kittens away, but kept the third, who my brother kept calling the Blue One because of her blue eyes.
Blue lived to a few days after her 21st birthday, was an outdoor cat on a farm her whole life, hunted field mice up until a couple years before her death, and did this weird thing where she'd walk up to you and hold out her paw while making noise.

Experience you showed us, I've been through with five times literally, 4 stray pregnant cats coming to me because they know I'm a softie, A Labrador next door that came to me having 12 puppies, I have a shepherd dog, and I had to Re home every one of the cats and Mama dog and her Babies, M big Shepherd Baby has been a priority to me for about 13 years now, yeah, I also had a moment I cried when I had to re-home them as well, it's not easy loving animals, thanks for all you do

There is this stray cat that comes to our home everyday. I love cats but my mom is scared of all animals. Might be because i have already been bitten and scratched by two strays before. But yeah the cat tries to come into our home and whenever it gets the chance, it rushes upstairs and we have ro get it out. I want to keep it as a pet. But i know that its just a dream. My mom will never allow pets. She once said and i quote Either the pet will stay in this house or I will. Pick one

Pregnant cats are VERY affectionate. Even strays will quickly latch onto the first human to show them any positive interaction. I took in a stray cat who'd been avoiding capture for months and within ten minutes she was curled up on my lap. Turned out she was pregnant. It's like they seek out security and connection because they're desperate for a safe space to give birth.

I remember my and my bff had a cat that was so loveable and I named her cheesecake but one day someone stole her she was so nice an I think she was a mother and that kid who stole her life and said he didn't but my friend saw everything she tried to stop them but she was to late she's missing for almost 2 weeks pls I need help or some advice

Incredible! I watched this video because the cat looks just like mine. Was I surprised when the rescuer said the cat's name! I thought, I must be imagining things. But I wasn't. The cat's name is Mouse, same as my cat (except I spell it Maus, so the vet's office doesn't get confused. They initially thought I had an actual mouse)
reply

Holy wow, Mouse is so chill how she was able to get a bath without flipping out She seems super sweet, and def gives pet cat vibes, so I kinda wonder how she came to be wandering the streets, pregnant. D:
But the most important part is how Mouse adopted a very kind human to help. :3

I hated cats until they forced me to love them (like Mouse) My first silver tabby that came out of the woods during a thunderstorm. He was Zimbra. a lovable clown who lived with us for 4 years and then disappeared during another thunderstorm. (he did wear id tags)

Such a lovely story and I love all the kitties and happy ending. But why name a cat Mouse Omg it’s a cat and mouse is a prey for cats. They bring mouse home as a treasure for owners etc. How unfortunate to name a beautiful cat Mouse.
reply

My neighbour cat always give birth at my home foster owner want taking care nicely, I decided to adopt the mother but after one year when she give birth again owner come up and took the kitten and mother didn't even give me one
reply

I've heard that 16 weeks is when you should give them up for adoption. But I've seen people do it after around 12 weeks. I've never heard of someone doing it after only 8 weeks. That sounds too quick
reply

Kitty knew the right home to arrive at! I am so glad that you took her in and supported her through the birth of her kittens and found homes and kept mama kitty! You are great, thank you!
reply

she's not stray 1000%. she is home cat (from her behavior & allowing you to bathe her 1st day).
Probably her owner after realizing she is prego, kicked her out, bc financial reson.

reply

I can't- Mouse is IDENTICAL to my cat Lychee in color. Like same colors, same eye color, and same pattern. How- (yes i named my cat Lychee even though he doesn't look like a lychee)
reply

I grew up on a farm, we only had one case in almost fourth years, where the mother abandoned the kittens after birth. In 99%of the cases, cats know what to do.
reply

i used to have a black and white cat that looked exactly like this cat, fluffy and very loveable. sadly she died away and the cause is unknown: (
reply

This cat in the vid probably smells the make bathroom and deadass rush to the female bathroom despite not knowing which gender is which
reply

Look at the stray cat how comfortably she is taking bath & here I have found a stray cat who moves 100 metre away when she sees water
reply

Good! In Sweden its against the law to sell kittens younger than 12 weeks. They need the mother 12 weeks, for dogs its 8 weeks.
reply

I've a lot of strange things in pet videos. I have never seen anyone use their own hair brush on their pet. That was new.
reply

This was how Ocean came into my life. And yes, how she gave birth three months later during Super Bowl Sunday.
reply

She let you give her a bath! She is beautiful and oh so sweet! How lucky she found you at just the right time!
reply
