Rescue Puppy Who Keeps Getting Returned Finds Someone Who Understands Him Ok firstable stop going to my country to rescue our datos which more likely they have owners and the reason probably he’s sad. you bring to US thinking they have a better life which isn’t true. Again more likely this dogs have owners in PR and they are looking for them. Our dogs roam around in packs playing around like kids and you come and visit my country to take them and make money out of them. Another thing is they understand Spanish and not use to cold. Stop coming to my country to take our animals away. Why you don’t rescue the unhealthy ones huh.
I’m so fed up of this entitlement. We are surrounded by horse roaming around, dogs, cats, chickens, cows you name it at the end of the day they go back to their owners and you go to my country with the mindset that you are better than us not respecting our way of living and deciding to take our animals away which most of them have owners.
My dog ended up in one of so called rescue, he was around the neighborhood which everyone knows him and visit my neighbor and one so called rescue stole my dog and ended up in US. I had to pay to get my stolen dog back.
If you don’t understand nor respect other countries way of living just have some respect and ask around if the animal has an owner.
Don’t believe what this person says and playing a victim. They don’t rescue it’s all money.
I’m sooo pissed that they have the nerve to come here to my country and think they can do whatever they want.
This dog more likely has an owner in PR.

His story reminds me of my baby. I'd just started volunteering at a shelter and while we were going through the dog area during orientation, they showed us they had a deaf dog. I couldn't stop thinking about him. I found out he had been returned multiple times, the last time he'd gotten out of the backyard and hit by a car and broke his leg. The vet hospital said the owners didn't want him back so he was returned to the shelter. After his leg healed, he went back up for adoption. Every time I was there, I gave him treats (I was new and he was above my level so I couldn't walk him. A month later, I adopted him. He became my velcro dog, my other half, my therapy dog (at home. I had him for 13 yrs 11 1/2 months and I think about him every day. The employee did the paperwork & passed him on cried and the employees and volunteers who worked with him were happy he was adopted by someone who could give them updates on him.

I adopted a pet black labrador who literally ripped up an entire linolium floor on me, reduced a bamboo pappa san chair to 1k splinters and somehow ate a hole in the sheet rock, endless destroyed shoes. But no matter how mad I got never once did it cross my mind to ditch him. Turned out to be 1 of the most incredible relationships I ever had, and I will never forget him. Now I have 2 yellow Labs lmao. Dogs dont need replacing people do.

There is no better feeling in my heart, and to know that a dog or cat will be loved for the rest of his life. I have recused many animals in my life, dogs cats birds, snakes I’ve given them a home, and I’ve committed to them when you take an animal, you commit for the life of that animal you have to it’s what’s required. I love that you did that. Thank you very much. One more animal will have a forever home because of you.

In my opinion, adoption is for life. Once you adopt a baby, whether furry or human, it's your baby forever. Don't adopt at all if there's something that could potentially make it so you cannot care for them for life, better to not even bother. Unbelievably selfish and cruel to adopt a dog and then abandon it right after it just experienced that less than 2 weeks before. Karma is real and she's coming for you, ah0les.

Needs space, love, training. Our Tucker still occasionally ruins stuff but he’s a dog, it’s what they do. If you want a fuzzy lump get a cat. The very thing that makes Tucker a dog including destroyed stuff on occasion is what makes us love him more. He’s a very free spirit doing his doggy things. Our fault if he gets into something we left out. It’s just stuff, go get another stuff to replace it

My dog is a Australian cattle dog rescue; also my first and still current dog; he's been my only experience with a dog so the challenges of caring for a hyper, high needs dog is my only experience and perspective of dog care: never even considered returning him though, some people just have to learn to accommodate their dog then will you realise how amazing and precious they are

Animals need to match their environment. Bean just needs a lot of activity to release his energy. So happy he finally found the perfect home. My daughter's rescue is high energy like Bean so she got out of an apartment and bought a house with a huge yard. My rescue is quiet and is happy to lay around doing nothing, like me. It's got to be a good fit for both.

This is wonderful! I had a black lab puppy, in an apt in NY, that was destructive too. We frequently went up to my in-laws summer home in upstate NY, where she could swim in the lake, etc, but we eventually gave her to a family in CT with a big yard, and where she could get more attention.

He as a puppy did nothing wrong with the play and tearing stuff up. He certainly didn't deserve to be returned 2 times. Its those peopled fault that returned him. If you don't want something destroyed by a puppy put it away or puppy proof.

Spoiler: high energy dogs like Bean 100% do NOT belong inside a big city apartment like that. That's chihuahua territory. Getting him out of that nonsense and into a real home was exactly what he needed.

This video got me in the feels. Some dogs are just not made for the city life. Our pups were Florida beach dogs when we moved to Tennessee. Now they are in much better shape and calmer.

They need to catifi their house so the that feerfull cat can navigate the house without being chased. Watching a few episodes of My Cat from hell with Jackson Galaxy will make them cat experts

Training is everything!
I recommend three books:
Dog training for dummies
Clicker training for dogs
Reaching the animal mind.
There are others, but these top my list.

So happy u took the time, but he's part Lab. This is a dog with LOTS of puppy in them. Labs are known for a LONG time to be puppy for years, they do settle down after a few years.
reply

At least these people returned him for another opportunity. All beings have issues but you have to work them out! Bean is a normal puppy and these lovely people are a delight!
reply

What a total cutie - those puppy years can be really trying so good on you for sticking it out and giving this beautiful a loving and entirely suitable home!
reply

Aww the angels in charge of puppies finding their soulmates knew the wrong humans got him so they made sure he got to the hands of his real family.
reply

i am not fit to be a pet owner. I am allergic to dog and cat fur. I have no patience and money to support another life, but I like watching these videos.
reply

It's just energy when they are destructive like that in kids & dogs. Must be expelled. Glad you hung in there with him What a nice couple
reply

The people who just gave up on him should think about NEVER owning a pet at all. They clearly don’t understand pet ownership.
reply

My dog does the same thing when he sees pigeons on the sidewalk in NYC haha he loves running and watches them scatter.
reply

Y he is too cute I don't understand why they would return him puppies are suppose to be bad until you train them
reply

aww thank you for keeping him. He's adorable and needed love. He has so much energy and I am glad he got to run.
reply

Happy for Bean and your family. Hope your Mom makes a complete recovery! Cancer is not a death sentence!
reply

He was A PUPPY not getting the energy release he needed. Glad Bean found the loving family he needed
