Watch This Guy Help A Baby Penguin Overcome Her Fear Of Water Saving The Wild Was the coast line so not without a beach area or point to land that small boat Seems really mean to toss and push them overboard instead of walking with them on the land. Or was the water so cold that neither could jump in prior to them being pushed in Sometimes I wonder if Rescuer’s are simply going way to fast regardless of imprinting. Could not a temporary GPS beacon not have been glued to her back to track where she is or was day after day A beacon used in Marine Research which the adhesive dissolves after a week or two Funding is obviously a BIG issue. However positive thoughts that both survived.

We love this but what if a guy who trsies onjured sharks rehabilitated a. shark from the brink of death and she relased the shark at the same time and place and yhe shark got both Natalie and Rosita right yhere at the end of the video
We love mature and all. And wed likely enjoy seeing a shark nirsed back to health but show the tougher reality of nature like suggested jere (even though I dont know that sharks eat penguins for sure) and suddenly we. would the the warm fuzzy feeling
The solutuon Dont watch thise videos I guess

Most of these videos on the internet with those forced 'feel good music' and good words make me doubt what really goes on behind the scenes! The penguin was clearly not ready to get into the ocean and was clearly pushed against its will. I wouldn't be surprised if it drowned soon after. The so called rehab it went through in the baby pools was simply nothing compared against the ripping current of the ocean.

PTSD. Some people don't understand how so much we are connected amd related as animals.
Well humans are practically animals we are.
Psychological damage is real amd all species convey in their own nature amd language.
Learning amd studying animal behavior is really fascinating.
I'm learning a lot on equine behavior, a lot that teveals how emotional and sensitive sentient animals.

This is not wildlife rehabilitation but cruelty to the baby penguin. They didn’t even help see if the penguin colony would take her in or if she could survive catching fish deep in the ocean imagine from a baby pool to a deep ocean. the act of pushing her into the water when she was clearly afraid does not bode well for her survival. She was better off sent to a real wildlife rescue or zoo

I love this video. I thank God that it founded me when I needed it the most. It is simply just a gentle and beautiful reminder that we ALL need to choose to face our fears daily. This was inspirational and encouraging. We may not hear anything else about these two but we most definition can choose to learn from them. I honestly thing both of them was ready, brave, and strong.

My parents are from Peru. Lima. I have never believed that they found penguins in thier country because well penguins lives in the cold. It was funny because i saw a penguin walked up to me. Looked at me. And took my sandwich. I didint even bother of grabbing my food back. I was standing thier like a complete idiot and my parents said now do you believe us

I think the training wasnt enough, they should get bigger size of pool water and a live fishes where she can chase and catch. poor penguin, there are some animals who arent capable of surviving in wild environment, if i were them i will just put them in sanctuary. whats the use of helping them and ended up putting back them on the risk.

I feel like this is a circumstance where the Penguin would have been better off in a zoo or rescue rather than released back into the wild. I'm doubtful she was able to make the transition back into wildlife after the phobia and being away from the wild so long. I hope I'm wrong, but it seems unlikely that she faired well.

I agree with the comments I’m reading. She’s obviously afraid of getting eaten by a shark or something. They should keep her, I know they want penguins to be wild but if an animal is that aware of the danger it’s not a life they want. :(

ummmm bit of a difference there. tiny pool to a wave rock splashing ocean. perhaps a few lessons how to jump out of water onto rocks wouldn't hv gone a miss. im not sure she lasted more than 10 mins

Great thanks so much you tube for recommending this video, will give me life long anxiety thinking of those penguins pushed off the boat when they clearly were not ready. Excellent job guys.
reply

Not wholesome. She was obviously not ready but he shoved her off the boat anyway. I hope it was painless when she was eventually eaten by a larger creature.
reply

Both were pushed by them they did not go own their own, they are too young to make a decision on their own, the fact they can live a restricted area.

reply

The fact that she experienced a trauma response to the mistreatment she received regarding water and was found shaken brings tears to my eyes for her.
reply

The cutest thing I've ever heard, penguin scared of water. Wait, isn't she actually a person trapped in that body Or maybe a cat: )
reply

I will pet her for all my lifes if she looked at me like that, u can see she is not ready yet, but i wish she have a good life now
reply

God damn at least drop her off at a beach! Not a huge rock wall with crushing waves. That area looked scary af.
reply

I love and i live with many different animals since i Was Born and i thank your whole team for your work
reply

I don't think she was ready at all. He had to push her. She didn't jump on her own. That was sad to watch.
reply

If that was me i wont let go. I will be attach after caring for few days. Thank you for your kindness
reply

This looks so fabricated and camera eager on every character's part except for the penguin.
reply

They forced them into the water, hope they survive & thrive, best wishes Natalia & Rosita
reply

She wasn’t ready to go! They pushed her off the boat and threw the other one in.
reply

. to see her make that final decision. He fking pushed her into the water! lmao.
reply

If the penguins are endangered why tf are you releasing them back into the wild
reply

Man Peter Gross is good and all but he seems like a overwhelming force
reply

This cozy environment must be a dream for any penguin with a fear of water
reply

U bet not ever release to an ocean. Send her to a sanctuary or zoo
reply

I think those penguins died the way he threw them in the water
