Weve had 2 that have been here since they were freshly weined. We just kinda let them hang around these last 2 years. They are pretty friendly, love the kids and our dog. If you let them stay, never let the dog food run out or they will raid your garbage. Dont bring them indoors because they wont live long inside. As it is there lifespan is only 3-5 years sadly. But dang they are so affectionate and playfull.

We went through all of this with our boy Arty. he was the sweetest baby. I miss him and his slubs so much. He was found on the road by his mom and littermates who'd been hit by a car. he had been there for hours when they found him. I'm so glad we gave him a home for the short life he lived, and thankful for the happiness he brought in that time. He was a very special pet.

so if i saw one this small in an empty field by my house then its mother is probably dead I saw one getting stalked by a cat and i wanted to help but it just kept hissing at me so i left it. I didnt know they were actually so harmless.

I have two possums, Annie and Mattie who live with me. I live on a mountain in a cabin on six acres with them, 17 cats and a English mastiff named rose. I love my animals and they love me. It's a great life!
