Huh I thought it was more normal to train your cat. Mine retrieves what I shoot, she will heel and run with me only using voice commands and she knows conceptual commands such as look and ready. Common commands as well, sit stay come. She also has self trained herself by watching me to Shepard my blind retired service dog, steers him around obstacles and keeps him from running in front of me. She will wake me up at sunrise if I say sunrise enough to her before bed. Thank you dodo for helping me realize how incredible she is.

That kinda impressive but. cats are cats, not dogs. So I would expect that those two cats quite may have had some discomfort during the training. Though I am not for certain on that, though since cats are known as quiet hunters, this generally means that they prefer to do things on their own rather than what a dog would do. On the flip side, at least these two cats are interactable so hey! I guess cats aren't the most calmest things after all

I have a 7 month old kitten. I’ve taught him to: come, sit, kiss, give paw, touch my face, stand up (on back legs. It takes him abt 15 min tops to learn each new trick but I try to wait a week or so before teaching a new one so he doesn’t get overwhelmed. But worth noting that he knocked over 4 glasses plus the salt and pepper while looking me in the eye tonight. Cats! Lol

As a kid I had two dogs but when I lived on my own I ended up with a baby stray cat. After seeing vids like these I was inspired to raise him and teach him some stuff. He knows his name. He knew other cats names too. He know's play, sit, jump, high-five, hello, bye, outside, and hush I think that's pretty good.

Mine loved the under the blanket game. I run my hand under the blanket, her eyes would turn to pennies. She never made us bleed on purpose, and i would never get a kitty declawed ever. Those who do that are heartless, and should have thier finger nails pulled out, whie awake and held down.

Marvelous! Wonderful! Now let's honor these beautiful creatures by putting an end to cat breading until cats are no longer living in shelters for many months or years, until there are no more so called 'unwanted cats' left.

Really cool I had a cat who can fetch and bring the ball back to me.
My cat now knows how to open doors, meow when he wants to use the bathroom, and listens to instructions,

of course one of the smartest cats in there is a Bengal. I have a Bengal and he is a genius, seriously. at 13 weeks he had worked out the skateboard on his own.
