What an idiot - if you actually cared about saving the otter, you should have backed off and let him have the back of the boat to himself as your presence scared it

That the otter was terrified is obvious. But why didn't the crew leave it alone so that it wouldn't jump back into the water Respect for wildlife dictates that one should not disturb. Why did the crew feel the need to keep pressuring the animal It doesn't speak English or any other human language

Omg! My heart was pounding so hard and fast for this poor Otter. Thank goodness this man was there to help. I can only imagine the tremendous fear and desperation it felt! Bless this man for his kindness and this Otter . I hope it never has to experience that again or that level of fear. PHEW!

Orcas are known to practice hunting small prey like otters and penguins and not eat them after, simply practice. I'm convinced if Orcas had under water houses, they'd have hunting trophies on their walls like some humans no joke.

I'm a bit surprised by the orca. He was alone, they usually hunt in pods. And the otter is a small prey compared to seals. Orca must have been starving to expend that much energy on him. Glad the otter got away though!

There is SO much that doesn't NEED to be said when an intelligent sea creature would choose, literally certain death by Orca over possible death by human. There is nothing more needs to be said. Think about it.

Otters in Singapore are attacking humans, they're quite territorial there it's becoming a problem now. They are ransacking all fish ponds and eating all the KOI fish and anything in every pond.

Smart otter. Tough decision cuz life over death. Work is in nasty top predator in the ocean nothing comes close. Just hope they don't get out of hand they take out enough as it is

As a massive Great White lover, I hate to say that Orcas is truly the apex predator in the water. This otter is lucky to find a kindhearted man when he/she needs him most.

The orca’s definitely didn’t have bad intentions. There twice as fast as otters, if they wanted to they would have killed it in a matter of seconds.
