Our cat, Callie and her kittens also contracted Parvo. I was looking for Brat one day. I found him. only his back legs. Callie and maybe her other kittens ate all the rest of him. She and the remaining kittens also had to be put down.
The other kitten named Brat peed on my Grandparents couch. at six WEEKS old! He thought he was a BIG kitty, lol! Poor Mama cat was so embarrassed and tried to clean up that part of the couch.
He was one of the kittens, who, along with Mama cat, ate the TOP of the CHOCOLATE Cake, that was cooling on a wire rack on the kitchen table.
The same Mama cat also taught her kittens how to swing on the macaray plant hanger. with a GLASS SHELF on it! My Mom took the plant hanger down, so ithe glass shelf wouldnt break.
When my Grandparents came home from visiting a relative, they put a free kitten ad in the local newspaper and had Mama cat spayed No more kittens!

Honestly this story reminded me so much of my little cat, we needed to give him away because we couldn't have 5 cats in the house, i cried the time we gave him away. We wrapped him up in this little blanket and gave it to the next owner, we kept the blanket and whenever we missed him we would smell the blanket.

Gues the cat mom was taking her babies to another place one by one. Cats do that often. You have probably stole kids from their mom. You should have wait. At least for half an hour. Imagine how scared mommy would be not founding her kitties when she gets back to take another one.

My heart may break a little bit, so that their hearts never break again. from experience I can tell it's not just a little bit a piece of your heart go with each one and you never get it back but the memories and seeing them healthy are worth it.

These little kitties grow up to be the best cats. I know because I have one. My son found him abandoned my dog instantly adapted him and so did we.
