I will never understand why people brutally hate these beautiful animals (believe me I understand the annoyance. I know especially as adults they can cause chaos in getting into things but all they are is hungry and scared because other animals are against them as well. I will never understand hunters who would just shoot them because they're annoying. Their howls are beautiful and ominous, like wolves but somehow more feral and at times more haunting.

I don't like coyotes for the damage they do to wildlife, but I couldn't harm a pup like this. Good on them for the rescue. I was a Volunteer Fireman in a rural department. We responded to a number of overturned farm equipment with entrapment. Usually had to wait for a wrecker or winch equipped truck to free the victim. I've wondered why we didn't do like these workers. If unable to lift the equipment, why not LOWER the ground.

It wasn't scared or sad it was just chillin. It knew it was getting help. Animals aren't as dumb as people think. It would have been making noise and showing teeth.
